Each of them also have little quirks referencing the author just how Dazai is obsessed with suicide and the real Dazai committed double suicide. Tanzanaki and his sister weird incestous relationship is mentioned in one of his books and Akutagawa coughs a lot bc the author he is based on was sick for most of his life. A lot of these details are lost on us because they are eastern authors. There's a good crunchyroll youtube episode about it if you're interested. None of this is spoilers btw just bonus info.
