oh man this was a great Finale, now to wait and see what Omori has for the next volumes of the Light novel. For the Finale cut content once again, pretty much its all there just little snips and inner monologues missing so nothing really vital. For your question on why was Lili,'s back glowing that was actually a new skill of hers taking effect a kind of command skill where if she shouts her Familia can hear her.it was supposed to be covered more when she became level 2 but they cut out that entire volume so yeah. When Bell's Falna started to glow running from Allen, it was in episode one so easy to have forgotten but when Bell hit level 5 he got the skill "Escape" boosts his speed when fleeing from something. Nice showcase of skills in effect this episode more than just the magic and enchantments they usually focus on. As someone else said already too, Ottarl didnt just let Bell go he just gave him a cool down timer. Man, I really hop Omori finishes 2 books this year, might be able to get a season out of that.

2025-03-08 04:43:26 +0000 UTCYou know what I really disliked the most about the final fight, more so than the animation? The fact that everyone kept attacking Ottar's sword, over and over again. So many of their attacks were so blatantly aimed at his sword and not his body. It's most obvious right after Bell gets the level boost, where everyone takes turns swinging at Ottar and he doesn't move his sword at all. Yeah, that's a common issue in a lot of shows (especially older ones), but I'm starting to feel it's a shockingly common trend in Danmachi especially. There have been multiple fights throughout the series where it just feels like everyone is wailing on each other's swords with no attempts to actually strike the body. It kinda ruins the fight momentum when you notice no one is aiming for hits and instead just doing repeated sword clashes. Which sucks because Danmachi can do solid fights that avoid this. When Bell was moving in that callback to the Minotaur fight both he and Ottar were suddenly going for solid blows that were being dodged or blocked, but most of this fight just rapidly devolved into attacking his sword until the story decides something different connects.
