Roy the one fighting Julius was going off on him pretending to be his brother. So Roy doesn’t just take names he can take memories too. Oh and I guess this would lead you to ask why Julius didn’t get his memories stolen as well if Roy went through the effort to take his name but no memories. According to the author that is a future spoiler as well This would imply the two gluttony brothers have the same abilities to both steal names and memories + use the abilities of those they’ve taken. That was shown by both brothers in episode 15. Now for why Rui came in like a Jojo character and Lye disappeared like that……… I can’t say but answers will come eventually

Basically the gluttony’s each represent one of the three great Mabeasts, it doesn’t really affect their power set, but it’s how you know. There’s Lye Batenkaitos (Gourmet), Roy Alphard (Bizarre Eating/Foul-Feeding), and Rui Arneb (Satiation) All the sin archbishops are named after stars. So Arneb is the brightest star in the Hare/Rabbit constellation. Baten Kaitos is the official name of the system of stars that make up the constellation of Cetus AKA the whale. And Alphard is the brightest star in the Hydra constellation, AKA a bunch of snakes. So together they all represent the three great Mabeasts.
