I actually really like your second point, I didn't look at it from that perspective, but you're right, we're seeing her and all of her vulnerabilities as the viewer, and the vampires have no idea how vulnerable/unhinged she truly is. Great points!

2025-08-31 05:00:38 +0000 UTCI’m loving just how crazy they’re making Kyouko. Maybe she has a plan, maybe she doesn’t, but you can tell she is LOVING finally getting the upper hand on the vampires. Right now they are terrified of her, even if she’s yet to actually hurt any of them. They know she can kill vampires, they know she’s extremely intelligent, and now they also know she’s crazy enough to just fire a gun and attack them even in a crowd. She is quite literally the most deadly existence for a vampire right now and they are 100% justified in freaking out. But on our end we see a little bit more than that. We see her being a little suicidal, we see her being out of shape and running out of stamina, and we see her revisiting all the locations that meant so much to her and Nazuna. As terrifying as she is to the vampires, she is an incredibly frail human. Which makes her all the more dangerous right now. The rest of this season is going to be so peak. I’m hoping they cut it off right on my favorite moment which would make for a damn good cliffhanger. I don’t think season 3 will hit quite the same heights, but the rest of this season will be flawless.

Also I love Akira's reaction to Ko making female friends that are clearly older than him; thinking Nazuna might have a negative influence on him. 🤣
