[Commission] Queen Bee

Artwork done by my friend Breppy. ( https://twitter.com/Breppy_Milk ) -------------------------------- The tomboy versus the queen bee, if there were ever two more diametrically opposed girl's it'd be Amber and Haley. Roughly the same age, these two have been in the same classes for the majority of their lives. Never friends, but also never much in the way of enemies either. Throughout elementary and middle school, the girls never had much a reason to engage with one another. That is until one fateful day, pinned to the floor and at a the greatest of disadvantages, Amber was entertaining herself with today's prey. Things weren't looking pretty until a hero emerged on the scene. With emerald eyes and flaming hair, Haley did the unthinkable. With a single sweep of her mighty backpack, she knocked Amber's legs out from beneath her. Sending the blonde sprawling onto the floor in a manner most undignified. If there's one constant at Forgery Highschool, it's to stay off of Amber's radar. With no fear of authority and a penchant for humiliation, the girl is an absolute menace. Turning a blind eye to the poor souls Amber had decided to torment is common practice among the student body. But Haley woke up to justice and with a single action, painted a massive target on her back as red as her hair. As Haley scooped Amber's toy off of the floor and sprinted out of the classroom, Amber didn't say a word. She simply stood up, brushed off her skirt, and smiled. In a school of spineless cowards, she found someone with a backbone. She was going to enjoy ripping it out. -------------------------- What makes someone a hero? If someone does the right thing, but fails, are they still heroic? Is the measure of a hero measured on their success or the attempt? From a young age Haley daydreamed about being a hero. Being the same age as Amber, she of course knew the stories. The warnings. But a fire always burned inside of her, a fire that only grew over time as she repeatedly witnessed these stories unfold upon her classmates. Could she sit idly by while others suffer? Not today apparently. As she swung the backpack at the back of Amber's knees, she felt a lot of things. Uncertainty, fear, and anxiety chief among them. But also, a welling sense of pride in knowing she was doing the right thing. She was doing the heroic thing. As she and Amber's current victim raced outside of the doorway and into the hall. She was happy. In a school of people that wouldn't defend themselves, she could be their hero. She vowed to continue standing in Amber's way. No matter what the cost. All characters belong to me. Always welcome engagement, fanart, and fanfic!

I left it ambiguous as to exactly what Amber was doing before Haley decided to play the hero. I'll leave exactly what she was doing to the girl in the story up to your own interpretation! Maybe it was a full-size girl and she ran off while Haley got caught? Maybe it was a tiny girl and she's still up there right now while Haley tries to get her back?
