[My Art] Help from the Outside (5/5)

We finally come to the end of our summoning encounter with the massive Bianca. Who would have expected it'd end this way? All of you? Wow. -------------------------------- I can still smell the funk coming off of Haley as she lay panting on the ground. Holding my nose did next to nothing after Bianca's little closing finale. It's honestly a testament to Haley's fortitude that she's able to remain even semi-lucid after that treatment. Even I feel a bit dizzy. "You sure she's okay to just leave like this?" Bianca takes a wad of newspaper off of the ground and positions it under the back of Haley's head like a pillow. A sweet gesture lost considering we're the reason she's laid out in the first place. Odd for a zombie to show remorse. Already making tracks out of there, I hand wave Bianca's comment. "She'll be fine. This is a safe neighborhood. She'll pick herself up and go home when she's good and ready." "Safe neighborhood? Coulda fooled me." The moonlight spills out into the thankfully empty parking lot adjacent to our little showdown site. If I hurry, I should be able to make the bus. But before that, there's just one last thing to do. Spinning on my heels, I face the walking behemoth following me. I need to be rid of this one. If the wrong people see me with her, I'll be proper screwed. "Bianca, right? Thanks for answering my call, but it's time for you to go back to wherever it is you came from." A forlorn look crosses the giant woman's face. Like a lost puppy. "Oh, already? But I feel like I just got here. Wherever here is anyways." "Listen, it's been fun. But you can't stay. Nice girl like you probably has people to go back to, right?" As if realizing something for the first time, the doubts evaporate from her face, replaced with a look of steady resolution. "Oh! I do? I do! Yes. Send me back!" Music to my ears. I was half worried she'd argue to stay. Clingy summons are the worst. I clench my first, the one I'd been using to tether her to this world, and release. A dull crimson light emanates in the summoning pattern around Bianca's feet. As if falling through a hole in the ground, she vanishes out of this reality and back to whichever one she came from before she's able to say another word. Leaving me standing alone. "Goodbye." A sudden jolt deep within my arse reminds me I am in fact not alone. I head towards the bus top down the road with renewed spirits. Good to see Sarah's still awake in there. I do hate it when they fall asleep. -------------------------------- Everyone except Bianca belongs to me, Bianca belongs to MrBL4CKL1GHT and was used with their permission.
