[My Art] The Oliviocalypse

During my vacation I did a lot of thinking, plenty of which you may have seen in my status update where I made a few changes. One of the more esoteric things I considered is in regards to burnout, my own burnout specifically. I like drawing butts on faces, really, I do. It's one of my favorite things. But have you ever tried eating your favorite food for every single meal? You can change the perspective, context, location, etc. But in the end you can't escape the fact that you're always eating the exact same thing at the end of the day. "Will this post perform well? What if you don't like it? It's a little out of my norm, maybe you'll just ask me where the butts are? What if you get tired of me?" These thoughts plague me no matter if they're true or not. So from now on, I'm going to make an effort to not let my own perception of "you" bother me as much. I wanna get weird sometimes, I wanna depict Olivia destroying the town with a methane powered alien armada, y'know? And just because it'll probably do poorly in the metrics cause she isn't sitting on anyone's face, I still wanna have fun with what I do. I think that ingredient has been missing for a little bit now. Obviously this isn't me saying I'm gonna stop drawing butts on faces, far from it. I just need to break it up. Can't eat the same meal over and over, gotta add some variety! So, should have read my little rant, I thank you. I'm still quite happy with what I do and I love drawing my girls. I just wanna change up the formula from time to time to keep myself out of a rut where the question isn't "How am I gonna draw the butt THIS time?"
