Game Dev Diary #3

Where to begin? Last time we left off I was focusing on dialogue, inventory, and save/load systems. Since then I've been busy with the mystical world of cutscenes.
I'm not talking about animating porn scenes or anything like that (yet anyways). I'm talking specifically a scene where control is taken from the player in the game. I got'em working!
That was a big hurdle. Sequences, broadcast messages, etc. Cutscenes were a big task because I couldn't find any good tutorials on how to make them. But I'm fairly satisfied with what I got.
But that's not all. Since figuring out the cutscenes I've started into new areas to expand my brain into the realm of the top down shooter! When will I use this in a game? I dunno but I'm having fun learning it!
All in all I feel like I've learned a lot and am excited to learn more to make a fun NSFW game experience for you all.
In terms of content, the Varu comic is about 4 pages deep now and should take another couple months to be ready to show you all. I also have something in the works with BlossonFlower so be on the lookout for that in what I assume is the near future.
And of course I still plan on posting two pieces a month to remind everyone that I'm still an artist!
To everyone that's continued to support me, I am very grateful. Without your help I'd have already gone back into the IT mines where there's no way I'd have time to learn all this game dev stuff.
