2018-01-11 18:40:15 +0000 UTCAs far as her design, in the story of the Interstella 5555 movie (anime music video of the Discovery album) Stella is a member of an alien band that gets abducted from their home world by an evil human who wants to rule the universe. The group is brought back to Earth where they are made to look like humans, and brainwashed, having their memories replaced with memories of being human. The evil guy wants them to win him Gold Record number 5555, which will give him universe-ruling power. Apparently the evil guy has gained immortality, and has been doing the same thing to other aliens throughout history. If you like Daft Punk's music and haven't seen Interstella 5555 yet, I highly recommend it. The video for the song Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger shows the band's transformation into "humans" if anyone is interested in seeing that part.
