Right above me, they spread alarms through the whole region but nothing great came. It lasted the whole night and it was already gone in the morning. So no real issues at least :)

2018-08-14 07:45:08 +0000 UTCSomething to think about is a battery back up surge arrester. It will help protect against power surge. And I think you can run your net thru it too plus the battery back up is good enough to last 10 minutes to 1 hour depending on what model you get.
