It's the base form that lead to Makoto's accidental suicide meditation. The key difference between Kyudo and other archery forms is the intent. Archery is mostly a combat skill, where the whole purpose is learning to hit a target. Kyudo follows the belief of "correct shooting is correct hitting", the idea that once one becomes perfectly synced with the bow, hitting the target will naturally follow.
