Rather Important Life Update

As of last Thursday I am on a short term mental health leave from work. Don't worry I am doing well. My full time job is technical and business support for an e-commerce platform, which involves listening to people's problems, hand holding a lot of people who don't know what they are doing, and getting yelled at for stuff that is not my fault. It started to take a slow toll on my mental health in that I was having trouble sleeping, always tired, gaining weight, eating delivery food more often, and most of all, stopping me from doing the best and most amount of comics that I could.

After working 8 hrs, I found it hard to sit down and continue to work more on comics, and it felt less fun. I was very un-motivated, both in my full time job, and running my comics. I always said "If I had more time, I could be doing much more, or better work."

With this short term leave, for a currently undetermined amount of time, I now have the time I was craving. I have been finishing comic pages in a day, sketching a lot more ideas, and writing a bunch of stuff both for myself, and also collaborating with artists I love.

I have noticed an increase in productivity, as well as the quality of work that I am making. I no longer am in the mindset of finishing a comic page at least once a week to push out, and feel much better about switching between each one of my comics. This also means I have more time than I normally do as well for exercising, socializing, and my personal life and relationships, and I look forward to reconnecting as much as possible.

I am also reading some great books about "How not to give a f**k" and saying no to things that make you unhappy or don't contribute to my own happiness, and I can't wait to get into those suggestions.

Overall I understand that in a few months I may need to return back to my full time job, which I do not enjoy doing, however I feel like this short term leave will definitely help recharge me, give me opportunities I never had before, and build my comics up better than I did before.

I thank all my Patreon supporters, or as I call you, my Costumers, for your continued support, and I can't wait to show you the stuff I will be putting out here! Thank you. <3
