A Bully's Comeuppance - Part 1

Violet always thought of herself as a pretty elegant and sophisticated young woman. She never took shit from anyone, and as an only child she figured out for herself early on how to get what she wanted and how to be independent. This naturally led to her being pretty rebellious, which soon led to a full on “goth stage” in her high school years. The way she acted was quite stereotypical, but Violet didn’t care. She liked acting the way she was. Mean, and rude, and like she didn’t care about anything which was pretty truthful.

Because of her sour attitude though, Violet could act like quite the bully. In actuality she didn’t really mean to be a bully, she just found it to be her natural attitude to pick on other students and call them out on things they were probably insecure about. On more than once occasion she had made another girl - and once even a boy – cry, but it’s not like Violet really cared all that much. To be fair, any rational person might have said she had gone too far with some of them, but Violet didn’t care about that. In reality she was probably doing them a favor. Giving them a bit of a backbone so that the real world wouldn’t destroy them when they got out of high school; they should be thanking her. Obviously the other students failed to see it that way, but Violet didn’t consider that her problem. If it bothered them so much, then that was their issue to deal with.

As far as dating went, that was another thing that Violet could barely care at all about. She liked sex and she liked getting herself off, but she never found herself caring about anyone enough to actually want to date them. She’d tried it with boys and girls and while sex with some of them was fun, getting herself off was the only thing she knew she ever cared about. Perhaps high school just wasn’t enough for a girl like her. She was too much for these “children” to handle and she knew it.

When it came around time for her to go to college, Violet didn’t really have too many options. Grades in high school were just one of the many things that she hadn’t cared at all about. Because of this her best option was just to stay home and attend a local college. The idea she couldn’t leave home annoyed her, but maybe that would help her get her act together a little in college.

Since her junior year in high school her “gothness” had settled down somewhat, she no longer caked on black makeup, but her clothing she would still happily consider quite goth 95% of the time.

She started going to classes at college, more than a little annoyed by some of them. In high school skirting by had been so easy, but in college you couldn’t really get away with that nearly as easy. And unfortunately she wasn’t trying to just skirt by anymore, she was actually trying to get some decent grades for once in her life. She struggled to keep herself afloat, but finally Violet realized there was no way she’d be able to handle even a B in most of her classes if she didn’t attend some tutoring sessions. (Something that the high school version of her would have despised even more than she did now.)

Having to almost literally drag herself to the after school activity, Violet had to stop herself from groaning as she walked into the big classroom to find a vast array of students studying along with teachers and volunteer student helpers. She walked in and took one of the seats, almost immediately annoyed by all the people who were trying to help her and ask her what she was there for. Obviously she did need the help, but that didn’t stop her from hating the annoying people who were around her.

At least... almost all of them.

“Hey, you look like you could use a bit more help?”

Violet was about to hide another groan as she turned towards the nerd trying to help her, having to physically restrain herself to not tell them to fuck off; but as she turned towards the voice she found it didn’t belong to a nerd whatsoever.

The man standing in front of her was clearly young, another student, but he was one of the most handsome men Violet had ever seen. He was quite tall, clearly muscular under his shirt, his skin was smooth and looked nice, his shaggy black hair looked like a rock star’s, and he had a bit of a beard on top of a chiseled jaw that would have made Superman jealous.

“Oh, uh... y-yeah. I might.” Her voice actually stuttering out of nervousness for the first time that she could remember in her whole life.

The handsome guy smiled at her, “Let me see what I can do to help you.”
