I remember stories about kids returning copies of Dangerous to buy Nevermind. Probably overblown as an easy story to tell about the changing of the guard, but interesting nonetheless

2021-05-21 16:53:03 +0000 UTCListening now, and all the Jackson talk unlocked a memory for me: "Dangerous" came out around Thanksgiving in 1991, and I got it on cassette for Christmas. Know what else I got for Christmas that year? A copy of "The Waste Lands," which had also just come out. I remember visiting my grandparents' house and just immersing myself in that album and novel. Good times!
