Constant Listeners, there is an archives to the Derry Private Library. Thanks to our Losers' Club historian Bryant Burnette, we have unearthed an entire vault of Stephen King material. From unpublished short stories to long-forgotten interviews, dusty manuscripts to alternate versions of your favorite tales, there is much to discuss...

This month, as we continue to explore the depths of 1999's Hearts in Atlantis, we revisit King's 2016 non-fiction collection Hearts in Suspension.

Edited by King's longtime mentor Jim Bishop, the book features an original essay by King entitled "Five to One, One in Five", four installments of "King's Garbage Truck", a reprint of King's novella "Hearts in Atlantis", 12 essays by fellow students and friends from King's college days, and a gallery of period-specific photographs and documents.

Today, however, the Losers are going to focus specifically on that essay and the four "Garbage Truck" columns. Rest assured, there's a lot to unpack, so grab a pencil and join Losers Randall Colburn, Michael Roffman, and Jenn Adams as they head back to UMO.

Then, stay tuned next month when we return to the Stephen King Archives to pop the champagne and celebrate ... Y2K? Don't worry. It'll all make sense.
