I hadn't considered that -- but yeah, it kind of does, doesn't it? All I can say for sure is that it's one of the handful of movies that seems to be almost a part of my DNA, so ingrained has it become over the years.

2022-04-29 13:44:34 +0000 UTCOnly halfway through, but I am loving this episode, especially the discussions about nostalgia and where it comes into play. And hey, what's that I hear? The oncoming train that is nostalgia about this very show's existence? Well, why not? I think I would have a hard time trusting anyone who wasn't nostalgic for the things they love. The trick is having there be cake as well as icing, and I think this show does that marvelously well. (I mean both Stranger Things AND The Losers' Club.)
