Here's our June 2022 calendar!
Added 2022-05-31 23:42:44 +0000 UTC--In our regular feed, we're going to finally drop our Danse Macabre book episode on Peter Straub's Ghost Story. Then it's Blockbuster Month as we head to Jurassic Park in anticipation of Jurassic World: Dominion; speak to Chapo Trap House's Will Menaker on King as the populist pop culture icon he is; and then cap things off with a 40th anniversary celebration of John Carpenter's The Thing. Rest assured, King will be in every episode.
--Our S.S. Georgie patrons can look forward to our next installment of Talkin' Hawkins, which dissects 2017's Stranger Things 3 with Bloody Disgusting's own Meagan Navarro. We'll also be reviewing the new Joe Hill adaptation, The Black Phone.
--Our Overlook patrons can enjoy all of the above, in addition to our first Stephen King Archives episode in ages. It's our first King Speaks label, which sees us discussing his myriad interviews. This one will be his thoughts on the many adaptations, particularly the op-ed he wrote in response to Mark L. Lester's Firestarter.
