Talkin' Hawkins 3 Delayed to Next Week
Added 2022-06-16 19:30:26 +0000 UTCApologies, but Talkin' Hawkins 3 will hit this feed sometime early next week. The episode is finished, though. We recorded last night with special guest Meagan Navarro of Bloody Disgusting, but it was a lot longer than we anticipated. 2.5 hours!
To tease it proper: It's a really, really good episode -- arguably the best of this run so far -- with lots of insights that go into the nature of the show's IP, the what-ifs of Billy, and how becoming a phenomenon comes with its consequences.

The consequences are the show becomes too spread out w/too many characters. I find S3 to be cartoonish and just not that interesting. I also hate the way Will gets sidelined. I find the whole Russia thing w/Hopper/Joyce/Steve and co beyond boring. S4 is so much better, but still Will is being sidelined. I think it's a mistake and I hope the story gets back around to him in a good way in Vol 2 and S5.
