Together, they debate the month's newest horror releases — Hellraiser, Smile, V/H/S 99, Halloween Ends — and discuss what's not being said about the burgeoning Terrifier franchise.
They also enjoy extended riffs on the simple pleasures of Chucky, the bizarre eroticism of Tobe Hooper's Lifeforce, and the disparate appeals of Cronenbergs David and Brandon.
All in all, the trio discusses roughly 60 to 70 horror movies spanning a myriad of decades, styles, tones, and kill counts.

2022-12-20 17:26:10 +0000 UTCLate to the party, but this episode was a ton of fun! I know you are all strapped for time, but like Jennifer Bennett, I was hankering for a little more exposition. I know weekly episodes are probably impossible, but it would be cool if you could split up the event into two episodes next year. You know, like an episode near the middle of October talking about your first batch of movies, then an episode in early November talking about your next batch. Then you could just tack on a final ranking of the overall top/bottom 5 and call it good! No mattet what, this was very fun. Thanks for the recommendations! 👍👍

2022-12-20 09:29:22 +0000 UTCI’m very happy I am not the only one who isn’t on board with the Terrifier series. I can appreciate the special effects/make-up but I wish there was any sense of style to it. The torture scenes look so flat.
