August Patreon Q&A

So as part of a new perk for the tier, I thought I would do a Patreon Exclusive Q&A because I do love Q&As and I am sure there are questions you guys are willing to ask me.

You can shoot me anything, from something personal, to something about my reaction life, to asking me stuff relating to the show, anything you want, just comment below and I'll make a video at the end of the month to read out your questions :)

Also, if you can't think of anything right now but want to come back to this thread, just remember this is under the tag Q&A so it's easy to access :)

You seemed to be in to Buffy pretty much from the start so a few things spring to mind. I don't watch any of your other show reviews because I don't watch the programmes (although I may have a dive into Black Mirror, Firefly and Doctor Who) so it is hard to gauge how your reactions compare to other shows you watch (maybe you are easily pleased!). - how much do you enjoy Buffy so far compared to other shows you watch and where would it rank? - I know you watch the episodes a few ahead to avoid spoilers so I would guess you would be in a reasonable position to answer this (although if you haven't finished season 2 it is a bit of an unfair question).... One show I have always had problems with since it was rebooted is Doctor Who, because in the most part it doesn't seem to be able to carry a story arc properly through a season while at the same time having one-off MOTW episodes. It has the odd nod and wink to the series story but it always feels shoehorned in and in the main the character development is very thin. One of the things I love about Buffy is that (in the most part) the episodes are very dense and tightly edited - so much can happen and develop in a single episode. Not only that but it manages to switch from funny to serious in an instant without compromising the effect of either. Russell T Davies mentioned Buffy in the early days of Doctor Who, but for me it has always fallen short. Do you think this is a fair comment? - When asked about who people's favourite characters are in the show you inevitably get a variety of answers but I am always surprised that Buffy herself isn't at the top of the list especially given what the character has to go through as well as SMG's superb performance. Any thoughts about the main character and how she is played on-screen?

Your favorite and least favorite Buffy episode so far? Do you have one or more candy episodes already?

How would you currently rank main and/or reccuring Buffy characters from most to least favorite?
