Wow, I've never heard of someone preferring Go Fish over this episode (or any, really)

Same, if you ignore the weird messaging (there's a whole story about why that happened) it's honestly a very fun episode

My personal least favourite of the 137 episodes that Liam has thus far posted is Bad Eggs. This one beats both that and Go Fish for me because it contributes to character growth, however minimally. Still fairly cringy though, but it's Buffy so even the cringe is pleasurable.

I cringed but I laughed also.

Both fish and beer leave an odd taste in my mouth.

I love this episode despite how cringe it can be too many. I just love seeing Willow and Parker scene. And Buffy hit Parker. For me, a guilty pleasure.

Lol yes I donโt think this episode goes on too many peopleโs best of Buffy episodes but itโs fun in its own way

I love this episode. Yes, it's silly and goofy, but I thoroughly enjoy seeing jerky men getting their comeuppance, from condescending pseudo-intellectuals to misogynist sociopaths like Parker. Xander, surprisingly after his "Nothing can defeat the penis!" outburst, comes off really well in this episode.
Also, SMG is brilliant at comedy. Who doesn't love Cave Slayer spinning around on a chair until she falls off? And her line reading of, "FOAMY," is just hilarious.
Buffy, reduced to her id, is still a hero at heart, she recognizes her love for Willow, but Buffy's not perfect, so she'll still club Parker on the head. Twice. That's my Buffy.

Reduced to the "id" Buffy's only desire was to hit Parker in the head. I can relate :) I needed that resolution as much as she did, and no matter how many times I see it, it is soooo satisfying :)

Oddly, I thought Go Fish, whilst still eerie, has a better taste in my mouth than this episode but that's just me haha

I'm so glad there are more people out there that love this episode. It's one of my favorites and I usually hear so much hate for it, but it's soooo funny. And anytime you can hit Parker with a club is fine with me.

I love this episode...
... but at least I have the good sense to be ashamed of it.

I kind of weirdly like this one. I think the secret for me is that I read it as a parody of those silly after-school specials. Which it kind of was; the network told them to make an anti-drinking/anti-drug episode because the government was giving out money for it. But they didn't get the money because the government thought it was too out there and no one would connect the dots. (Government: Dumber than cave people.) But there's something about it that feels like a snarky middle finger given to demands like that.

This is basically season 4's "Go Fish" (only much funnier). The bar owner even looks a little like the swim coach. But then again, I love "Go Fish," and could there have been a better sign-off for Parker?

Noticing some sync issues with my audio and the video but my audio and Buffy's audio seems to sync well. I don't think it's much of a crisis and something easily fixable just to put out there :)
