It was also a last resort Spike turning to Buffy since Harmony rightfully gave him the boot and the alternative was a super painful death :P

2020-03-11 03:52:47 +0000 UTCyou look so cute in that hoodie! loved your reaction and the humor in this episode is great. spike’s “you made a bear!” “undo it! undo it!” is one of my favorites. i was so excited for your reaction especially so i could share this fun behind the scenes thing i discovered — the stunt coordinator, jeff pruitt, made some home movies while filming and theres one with bits from ‘the initiative’ and ‘pangs’. at 2:12 it shows the bear they had on set for the scene in this episode and it’s adorable. they were trying to get him to roar or something and he kept just bouncing up and down. no idea how sarah michelle kept a straight face. https://youtu.be/pfRnihbZRPM
