The 1rst Commander was Becca Pranheda not ALIE ALIE was the AI created to look like Becca. (remember the videos Murphy watched in lighthouse when Becca met ALIE) also the dark blood she shot herself with did 2 things it not only was the only blood compatible with the AI but when she took off her helmet in the radiated planet we see she was able to be immune to a certain amount of radiation.
