Yay!! This movie is fabulous and Angelina Jolie is perfect for this role. I love delving into Maleficent's backstory and lore. And I love how this film really makes you empathize with her. And yes, I was wondering when you were going to recognise Umbitch đ Imelda Staunton is a wonderful actress. Oh, another tidbit - The scene where little Aurora hugs Maleficent...that's actually Angelina's daughter, because she was the only kid not frightened of her in costume. đ This is really a sweet film, and I love seeing the progression of the relationship between Maleficent and Aurora. It's such a beautiful theme to this story.
