I really enjoyed seeing you watch this for the first time. It's my favorite movie ever and was the very first thing my wife and I talked about when we first met. We can't wait to show our son this movie when he's old enough. Looking forward to your reaction to Back to the Future II.

Being a Doctor Who fan you can see the time travel consequences and it gives you a different perspective of when I first viewed it as a kid. Did you notice any of the changes that Marty made? There's some not so obvious ones - Like the Twin Pines Mall is now Lone Pine Mall as he ran over a pine... I can't wait to see you reaction to the next one. 5 years ago my brother had a Back to the Future party - basically the day Doc and Marty arrive in the future. My brother made that 'uncle joey jailbird' cake and had other things from the other 2 movies as well. And fun fact - the clocks changed the same night as party, so we went back in time during the back to the future party! This is probably my favourite film series of all time and probably the film I've seen the most (but I saw a lot of the 'ITV' daytime versions without the swearing when I was younger, so when I bought the DVDs the swearing felt weird!!)

I just knew it. I gotta say, though, how is this possible that you hadn't seen these films? Bad Liam. Bad. But you just earned your geek card back. *Giggles* Can't wait to see you react to the other two. I will say, they aren't quite as good as this one, but they are still fun to watch, and I'm still eager to share them with you. Oh, by the way, the one judge at the beginning when Marty was trying out for his band to play at the dance who said they were just too darn loud. That was Huey Lewis, the guy who sang the songs for this movie. :D
