Hello patrons!

This is my first official Patreon post - let's hope I don't whiff it. Here is the early access to not one but two videos about crowdfunding. Seems appropriate, no? The one above is about the way you should think about crowdfunding, and this one right here is about the actual pragmatics of running a campaign on Patreon or Kickstarter.

Tomorrow, when these go public, the first video will replace my Smash video as the One That Goes On The Patreon Page.

I'm not charging for both the videos, as I consider them two parts of the same subject. But this will be the first official announcement to my YouTube audience that my Patreon even exists, and from here things will get interesting!

Now, going forward, sometimes the Early Access videos are not the "official" videos. I sometimes make minor tweaks to the video and re-upload the next day. (I also don't know how YouTube's promotional system works - is a "new" video a video that has just been uploaded, or one that just went public?) So if I make any changes tonight, I'll shoot an email tomorrow with the updated links. Do please keep these under your hat until tomorrow! (In either case, the YouTube info will be rewritten in the morning.)

The Patreon goes into proper launch mode in the morning! The page will get revamped and I'll share access to the annotated videos and Behind The Scenes blog as soon as I am able! Bear with me while I pull this shit together, there's a lot to juggle in the early going.

Also, since I haven't said it yet, my deepest thanks to all of you for backing during the soft-launch. Y'all are making this channel possible. I hope more than anything in the world that we get to know each other for a good, long time!
