The AMA on Discord is starting at 3pm EST, about 1 hour from now. Here's a link to join the server. From what little time I've spent there, it seems the community can be kind of hostile and has it's fair share of reactionaries, but the stream itself should be well-moderated. If you can't (or don't want to) join the stream live, I'll post a link when it goes up on YouTube.
I didn't end up joining Big Joel's stream yesterday because I had a long, exhausting day, but you can still join in and donate here. I may still pop by at some point this weekend if I find the time! Joel is a good'n.

Enjoyed the discord. I was thinking about the answer you gave in response to the question about persuasion. As I remember it (could be wrong in which case this comment useless), you said that theres two general stategies persuasion or debunking. I think its better to frame it as de-platorming or persuasion. Both tactics involve a lot of debunking. You need only watch a contra or hbomb video to see lots of debunking. Their debunking is done to persuade. Whereas your strategy is to teach people the underlying tactics of the modern ur-fascists so when you encounter them you shut them down. In contrast to Contra, someone like Shaun is debunking to help shut down the ur-facist. Debunking their claims to demystify the far rights psudo intellectualism. Try to take some of the space they have because of their fake intellectualism. Illustrate them as the fools they are. Your videos are equipping people with the tactics of how not to platform fascists. De-platformers are stamping out the oxygen fascists have. Persuaders are giving the salvagable ones a breath of fresh air.
2019-03-31 00:29:56 +0000 UTCI didn’t catch the stream but saw some of the chat comments. They didn’t seem particularly impressed with the idea that whiteness bestowed privilege. At the same time no comments put into works specific reasons why things you were saying were wrong, only that it didn’t match up with their beliefs, so I’d like to assume your logic was being followed. Chat was generally pretty hostile. I hope the stream went well, and that you’re doing ok after that!
