I haven't played this, i am not sure I ever will. Now I feel a bit sad that if I do this will not be my experience (Probably, put down a game and then pick it up six months later is NOT unheard of). It's nice to get some regular old video game content from you again. I really do appreciate all the politics stuff, I think it's smart, valuable, and important. It just also generally crushes my heart a little bit more, and the simple blessing of a little escapism in the form of 'Ian reflects on the experience of playing an odd little game over the course of almost a decade' is nice. My grandpa also used to tell me bedtime stories he just made up. I was very small so I remember even less of what you remember of Mr Woo's stories, and there is something lovely and tragic about how I will never forget bouncing on a bed while my grandpa told me a story about a (living) lamp, but at this point that's all I will ever remember.
