tasting menu rundown: nextfest demos
Added 2024-04-04 16:02:11 +0000 UTChere's February's tasting menu - no wonder it took til April to come out, it's 2.5x as large as the last one! went with notes instead of a script this time, and filmed from my laptop camera instead of my phone so it wouldn't try to refocus every time I turned my head. I'm fifty-fifty on how it looks. hard to say whether the looser writing was beneficial; I saved time in the scripting but spent more time in the talking, which means more time in the editing. hard to judge when it's a longer video regardless!
didn't manage a tasting menu for March, but should be good for doing one in April. cheers!

I remember _Dust: An Elysian Tale_ although I never played it. The art style intrigued me, but then I watched a couple of minutes of gameplay and was put off by the characters' chattiness. 😬 "Restraint" is an underappreciated quality among videogame writers, isn't it? Also: Holy crap, I haven't thought about _Today I Die_ in 15 years.
