Audience Participation: Film Randomizer
Added 2025-08-13 20:03:13 +0000 UTCI promised I would do this, so let's do it:
Recommend movies in the comments you would like to make me watch and review, and I will add them to the Randomizer List.
RULES AND SUGGESTIONS
scroll through the comments to see if the movie you wanna recommend has already been suggested
you can suggest as many movies as you want
like comments to endorse that movie (if this method produces some clear winners, I will forego collecting them all into a poll and just go with most-liked suggestions)
consider making each recommendation a separate comment rather than a list, to facilitate people liking individual movies
you can like as many comments as you want
if I delete a comment, it is only because I have already seen the movie, and not because you made a bad suggestion (if it's clear I have to do a poll, I may not do this)
I'll collect recs until the comments slow down (maybe a week or so?) and then either pick the 3 most liked or run a poll if it seems necessary
the top 3 films will replace 3 films on the Randomizer List
the 3 films removed from the Randomizer list will - in keeping with brand but breaking from the original pitch - be chosen at random!!!
if there is something on the Randomizer List you desperately do not want taken off, you should tell me ASAP and maybe - maybe - I'll prioritize it this week (here are all the not-yet-watched films from the list)
Alright, you rascals. Let's see whatcha got for me!

Paterson. It was very graceful and peaceful ,about everything and nothing and still hella engaging Jim Jarmusch is the king. The visual alliteration was so lovely. Very good for a healthy mindset.
