Do you remember Band of Brothers?; Eugene, the medic and the nurse. They had a special calming touch. A gift of empathy & calm that soothe the soldiers. Well, I think that's what Laurent has. His way with feeling their pain, and empathizing with them, is his special gift. That's why they are drawn to him. He needs to stay home with his people. And I agree with you guys that Daryl & Carol need to go home. I think they should call next season, if they have one, "Daryl Dixon: Homeward Bound. lol Also, Codron could be Laurent's new protector.
