Noticed it was starting to look like a blob of words so tried to reformat it into a simulated 'list' structure, hoping to make it easier to read. Y'all did a great job as usualπ and β€οΈy'all's reaction to this movie as per the norm! β€οΈKeep up the GREAT please!! (and Yes, I'm from the South! Just south of Atlanta, Georgia, were they filmed "The Walking Dead", "Fried Green Tomatoes", "Driving Miss Daisy", chunks of the MCU, "Pet Sematary II" and so SO MUCH MORE!) Well Nikki & Steven, I actually concur with both of y'all (I don't always agree w/Steven when it comes to disliking a movie/show)! There were several funny parts and parts that I loved but as a whole they hit low and to the left, totally missing the target! SOME PROS:π In the scene where Beetlejuice's Ex-wife puts herself back together, has "Thing" (from Tim Burton's "Wednesday") 'fingerprints' all over it, which to me is a good thing looked so REAL!! Loved that Danny DeVito made an appearance. The other big-time actors in the movie was cool to see.(Willem Dafoe, Monica Bellucci, Burn Goldman, & others) Since ghosts don't normally age (at least from in experience ππ»), I can understand why they didn't bring the OG actors back to reprise their role as the Maitland's. Loved how Beetlejuice handled the a$$hole punk kid Jeremy as well as how it was done... "Later Sucker!" and one-way drop w/no stop to the fiery gates of hell! SOME CONS:π The lip syncing in the church had to be the absolute worst part of the entire movie! I also wish they would've finally shown us what Beetlejuice's face looks like when he does the scary change over, he does it in both films and neither time to we get to see it. Danny DeVito's could've/should've had a 'bigger' part. They should've gotten his "Twin" to play a part in the movie as well, say as either security (like an 'eraser' or 'terminator') or as the Governor of the afterlife. πππͺπ€£ I agree they could've brought the Maitland's back at least in stop action form as they did for Charles. William Defoe's character got annoying after awhile but not as annoying as Justin Theroux's character!!
