"NOT ANYMORE SHE's not" rigghtttt. those who had so much chemistry so giddy the whole time. Totally agree, especially because the young Jack on the ranch looks like he's playing dress-up right? He doesn't look like he even belongs. Spencer is like Kevin's John and James.... THE DUTTONs. Even his brother John doesn't come off like a Dutton. ----- really really hard to rewatch the handmaid's tale 2.0. I'm sorry had fast-forward. It's sickening.

We were sterilizing Native American women without their consent or knowledge well into the 80s. The way we have treated and continue to treat the natives is deplorable

Alex Gorell

the semilese are great example of that they have one island and are happy there ive never heard of one trying to leave but i guess we'd also probly never know

I did pretty well in school, got my Bachelor's but I'm embarrassed that I didn't know a lot of the stuff that was done to the Native Americans. I knew about the sh*t Columbus did (I don't know how we still celebrate that bag). I also knew about forcing them onto Reservations and the typhoid laced blankets but I never knew about the sterilization or the "How to be a white person" Catholic schools. People like to talk about "reparations". Well, start w/ them.

Not every civilization has sought to conquer others. That's one thing one who knows history can very much disagree with.

Wow...first person I've seen that has the same opinion on Kacey as I do. He just seems kind of like a whiner. And honestly...weak compared to the other Duttons. That was ALWAYS my problem with Yellowstone. He's supposed to be the main draw and kind of poised to take over the ranch. Yet...I simply didn't care about his storyline. And same with Monica. Spencer is EXACTLY who Kacey should've been.

Terri

John the son of James from 1883 is Jack's dad and was with them around the fire when they was talking, he's the slightly older guy thats Jacob's right hand man.

SAMCRO_89

I couldn't stand Monica the first 2 seasons. She blamed Kaycee for EVERYTHING!! Every episode. I'm glad they changed her character a little. I never thought of Kaycee as a whiner. He just had a lot of inner demons. I actually liked Kaycee but there was so much more potential for his character.

Yes, Spencer is so interesting. I haven't crushed this hard on a fictional TV character in years. What's strange about Luke Grimes and his dedication to country music is that HE was the only one, (besides Taylor's subtle zingers) to speak out publicly about Kevin Costner leaving. I was super pissed too but Grimes is being a hypocrite. If anyone needs to know how to screw up the final 5 episodes of one of the best shows ever, just point them towards Kevin Taylor

Amy Moquin

I forgot to mention what a beautiful badass Helen Mirren is in this.

I absolutely love Spencer. He has this old Hollywood quality to him. So does Alexandra. I wasn't too excited for a romance to be main storyline but I adore their story. They really go through it. I first liked them as individuals and then as a couple.

Nikki with the "panty dropper" line...made me spit my drink out... -Spencer Dutton is easily the best of the newer characters of this series of shows. Baddest of the Bad Asses. He is what Kacey could have been, had his actor not decided he would rather do country music.

I was never a fan of Kacey's character. I always think of him as a whiner, him and Monica. I think Spencer is more like James (Tim McGraw) and John Dutton the third (Kevin Costner) is more like Jacob. I don't know yet who the hell Beth takes after. on that we're just gonna have to wait and see. I agree with y'all about the interest in Rainwater's family history. Cause remember back on Yellowstone S1, Thomas Rainwater talks about his childhood and how he was raised thinking he was Latino by his adoptive parents. Then he later finds out about his heritage. It's all so fascinating.

Cawy

FYI: When Spencer said, "She's gonna run that skinny boy ragged," it was a call back to James (his father) saying the same thing about Elsa and Ennis in 1883 :)

Elle

I give Sheridan huge props for accurately depicting what we were doing to the natives. He’s got a lot of balls doing this.

Alex Gorell

Yeah the depiction of the Indian schools is all too real. There have been hundreds of cases of abuse by the Catholic Church and they've even found grave sites by the dozens near these schools it's a very horrible fact of what it took for us to be here today. And it was all so senseless

John Hampton

some people say the knife given as a gift for the sheep is the same knife that is used to seal the deal at the end of Yellowstone

Presence Unknown

the purpose of the native american "school" was not to educate but to break the native identity and spirit

More!

America doesn't have a long history, but it sure as hell is f'ed up, especially for how short it is.

I agree. When I saw the scene with the two leopards sneaking on the tents last episode I immediately thought of that movie. I love The Ghost and The Darkness and I agree that they should put it on the list.

Stephanie

THe Maneaters of Tsavo they mention have their own movie "The Ghost and the Darkness" Starring Val Kilmer and Michael Douglas. its an absolutely great movie, won an Oscar for Best Sound Editing, 1996. if you haven't seen it put it high on your list

Eric Royer

I forgot how ANGRY this show made me every time we see the school! Horrible! But Spencer and Alexandra! Yes! LFG!

Wrench_In_The_Works

To answer your question (not a spoiler) on whether or not the gentleman sitting by the campfire with Jacob and Jack is John, yes, that it definitely John. You're right on the fact that they don't use names a lot especially for John. That frustrated me a lot as well haha

Walt

What's really great about that ending is that it was a silver car so it was quite literally a "Hi ho, silver! Away!" moment lol
