The Summoner and The Fall of Blackbottom

Hey folks! James here to let you know that we have two new PDF releases today for Draw Steel. There's The Summoner class and a new adventure for 1st-level heroes called The Fall of Blackbottom.

The Summoner is an incredibly ambitious new class from lead designer Willy Abeel. You may know it from our playtests here on Patreon. You can summon hordes of undead, elementals, demons, or fairies to help you bring down your enemies. Control up to twelve minions at once without slowing down the game.

The Fall of Blackbottom is also an adventure most of you know from playtesting. Started by Sadie Lowry and expanded and developed further by lead designer Leon Barillaro, this adventure takes place in the city of Blackbottom as Ajax invades with a combined force of demons, war dogs, and Hawklords! Escape the city ... and bring all the innocent folk you can along with you!

If you've been a Patron at the $8 a month level for at least two consecutive months as of the release date (November 28, 2025), you should have an email with a redemption code for The Summoner. If you've been a Patron for at least three consecutive months, you'll get the same for The Fall of Blackbottom.

If you're new, here's a quick reminder of how we determine who gets a Draw Steel PDF when it drops. When a Draw Steel PDF drops, long-standing patrons at the $8 a month level get it free based on how long they’ve been a patron. You figure this out by dividing the cost of the PDF by 8. You’re paying $8 a month, so if the finished PDF is $40, that means you will get it automatically if you’ve been a patron for the last 5 months (40/8=5). It has to be consecutive months before the release date. This is just for Draw Steel and only PDFs. If we make other games or products, they're not covered by this policy.
