Within a large cafe, bustling with people coming and going. Sitting at a table was Sombra, as she typed away at a laptop, sitting back comfortably as she was at work. It had been nearly a week since she had appeared in this world, and she had gotten a decent bit done during that time, mainly in terms of improving her background and making it tight nit, and hard to crack.

At the moment she was working on something important, a quest.

Billionaires? Not anymore

Details - Not all billionaires deserve their money, so it’s only right that those not worthy…aren’t billionaires anymore. Funnel the wealth of billionaires into proper and safe charities, for every 500 million funneled, you receive 1 VGT, for a maximum of 5 VGT. 

Turns out, with knowledge like Sombra’s, or her counterparts, doing something like that was…laughably easy. All she had to do was create a program that could do it for her, and then do the stealing of wealth herself. Which is exactly what she was doing right now, stealing over 5 billion dollars from a rather…not good billionaire that made his wealth off of buying property from the poor after natural disasters struck them, or other events similar. 

She was currently doing exactly that, and was nearly done as the program she had written up was at work, rapidly funneling the funds into various charities around the world that she had made sure were safe (through a lot of hacking and pretty illegal stuff). 

She didn’t take a cent for herself, as she had no need for something like that. She preferred the simple life, and besides the laptop, some clothes, and a couple grand for some supplies, she hadn’t stolen a cent for herself. And none of it came from the poor or those who didn’t deserve it, that she made sure of. 

After sipping on her macchiato and working away, Sombra let out a small sigh as she leaned back, a pleased smile on her face as she was done. While in another country, a man was screaming profanities as his bank account was completely empty. 

[Quest Complete. 5 VGT deposited]

Seeing this, Sombra smiled before claiming the tickets, deciding not to wait.

Sombra silently sat in the cafe as her body rapidly began to assimilate the changes, as did her mind. New memories flooded her brain, as did a small bit of physical power (very minimal amounts). The knowledge was what Sombra was excited about, and it had been proven to be quite a good bit of knowledge.

The assimilation continued for a few minutes, before finally finishing, as she let out a small sigh, happy with the new knowledge she had gotten from the 5 VGT. She doubted there’d be any future quests that were so rewarding, meaning this was the starter quest of sorts, before she started to get the genuinely somewhat difficult quests. 

With the assimilation over with, she looked around, as she waited for the other reason she was at this cafe for, and low and behold, the reason she was in this specific cafe revealed itself, or more like…herself. 

A gorgeous woman with long dark brown hair, with equally as brown eyes. A perfect figure that was very pleasing to Sombra’s eyes, and standing at a shorter 5’5. This, was Skye, also known as…Daisy Johnson. 

Sombra was interested in Skye for a few reasons. One, she was incredibly skilled, almost as much as herself when it came to hacking, which is incredibly impressive. Two, she was an inhuman, the most powerful of them in fact, thanks to her ability to control vibrations, even if she didn’t know of this yet. And three…she was incredibly attractive, and exactly Sombra’s type. That, and Sombra had been making a bit of a ruckus in the hacker space, so, she had caught the eye of Skye and the “Rising Tide” a hacker group. 

Skye was only able to track her because she allowed the girl to, why? Because she was interested in Skye, and potentially working with her on some projects that can actually help the world, and make a genuine difference. 

Skye looked around the cafe for a few moments, before stopping as she noticed Sombra. Walking forward, Skye sat across from her without hesitation, causing Sombra to look up from her laptop, and chuckle. 

“I’m assuming your one of those rising tide people?” Sombra spoke, looking Skye in the eyes, who looked somewhat surprised. 

“Yeah? But how did you-” “I was interested in your group, so I let you find me” Sombra said, answering Skye’s question before she could even ask it, amusement in Sombra’s eyes as Skye’s eyes widened slightly. 

“How-” “Your good, but your not that good. My systems are more advanced than just about any on the planet, besides Starks or maybe Shields, did you really think you go through without me letting you in?” Sombra said, smirking as realization hit Skye. 

“You baited me! Oh you-...you’re good” Skye said, letting out a small chuckle as she realized that she was completely baited by this unknown woman that she definitely did not find really attractive, especially that seductive accent, nope, definitely not. 

‘God her accent is so ho-’ “If you’re done daydreaming, wanna tell me why you wish to meet me?” Sombra asked, cutting Skye off, who blushed slightly in embarrassment. 

Coughing awkwardly, Skye spoke “I-we want to give you an offer to join the ri-” “Not interested” Sombra cut her off, knowing that Skye was about to offer her a position in the rising tide, which she really wasn’t interested in. 

“But-” “No offense, hermosa but I’m not interested in joining a group like yours, your so called “justice” and giving out information, is pretty…well, flawed. I’d rather work on my own and give out information actually worth something” Sombra replied, cutting the girl off again. 

“Will you stop cutting me off! And what do you mean “flawed” we’re the best of the best!” Skye replied, getting annoyed at the constant cut off by Sombra, who was growing more and more amused by the girl in front of her. 

“You don’t leak the information that actually matters. You spread it…horridly, and quite a few of those members your so proud of, take bribes from rich billionaires to hack other companies. I’ve done my research, hermosa and I know exactly the type of people in your group. Well, besides you, from what I’ve gathered, you are easily the best in that little group, and the only one making a genuine change” Sombra replied, causing Skye to blush ever so slightly at the “Hermosa” which meant beautiful in Spanish. Not to mention the compliments regarding what she had been working on doing. 

“Well…if you won’t work with the Rising Tide, why not work with me?” Skye asked after thinking for a few moments, causing Sombra’s eyebrow to shoot up. 

“Really? You barely know me, hell, you don’t even know my name. And you wish to work with me? What’s to say I don’t betray you?” Sombra replied, surprised. 

“I’m a good judge of character, and if you rat me out, I’ll rat you out” Skye replied with a smirk. 

Looking at Skye, Sombra let out a small laugh, realizing that she had also been had, when she saw the picture on Skye’s phone with her face on it “You’re good, very good. Alright, I’ll work with you, hermosa~” 

“Skye, my name is Skye” Skye said, ignoring Sombra’s teasing. 

“And I am Sombra. It’s nice to meet you, Skye~” Sombra replied, excited for the future, while Skye…had different thoughts. 

‘...I have either made a severe lapse of judgement, or the best decision of my life…’

First meeting between Sombra and Skye, Skye is her one and only love interest, as I decided that she needed some love, plus she is like…severely underrated…very much so. 

Not sure when next chapter will come, this fic will be similar to the Gifted fanfic I made, in regards to them getting together rather quickly. As in, before canon begins, so in the next couple of chapters or so. 

I don’t speak spanish, so bear with me in regards to the words as I’m using google translate for all that. 

I plan on making a fanfic around the Michael Bay Transformers movies soon, with Mikaela Banes (The girl played by Megan Fox when she was in her prime). Not sure when that’ll be coming though. Probably later today or tomorrow.
