Chapter 105 [Vault]

[You have died. Now, you have been chosen to reincarnate into a new universe]

“That…is one way to wake up” A woman muttered, as she looked around what looked to be an infinite void of absolutely…nothing. All that was within this void was her and the words that floated in front of her. 

Trying to remember how she died, the woman stopped and frowned, realizing that…she couldn’t remember how she died, only that she had just finished watching the Flash before going to sleep, and now she was here, in an infinite void of absolutely nothing. 

She hadn’t been sick or anything, so her dying didn’t make much sense to the woman. The only reasonable excuse she could think of, was that something had killed her in her sleep, like a gas leak or something similar. Whatever it was, it was quick and painless. 

“So uh, how does this reincarnating thing work?” The woman asked, seeing that she had no other options in this situation. She was dead now, and it was probably best to come to terms with that, and move on. Plus, the idea of reincarnating in a fictional world sounded…appealing. 

[Your power has already been chosen. Now you must simply spin the wheel in order to decide your “Body” that you will be born into. Should it be a fictional body you get, such as a character, you will receive all their powers, abilities, and helpful bits of knowledge]

“That’s…pretty cool actually” The woman said with a small smile, as slowly a golden glow formed in front of her, various names flickering through it, as slowly, she walked forward and spun it as hard as she could. 

She watched as dozens upon dozens of names spun on by, many of them recognizable, before eventually, it stopped. The names that it stopped on were recognizable, as it was the name of a powerful mutant from the Marvel universe, as well as one that was…very attractive.

[Psylocke - Elizabeth Braddock + Kwannon fusion]

The two of these characters had powers based around telekinesis, telepathy, and creating psychic constructs. The constructs took the form of weapons that would damage the very mind and psyche, instead of physically harming them. 

[Now that your body has been chosen, it is time for your reincarnation. Enjoy your new life…Elizabeth Kwannon Braddock]

“Wait that’s i-” The woman now known as Elizabeth couldn’t continue speaking, as everything went dark, and she slowly disappeared from the infinite void. All that was left was the words that had greeted her, before even those had disappeared from the void.

[3rd POV] [Location: ??????]

Within what looked to be a rather large bedroom, a woman lay. Dark purple hair cascaded behind her back as she lay, her tall 6’0 form moving slightly as her tones muscles were clearly shone. She also had rather impressive…assets, ones befitting of a comic character. 

Slowly the woman’s eyes began to open, revealing powerful glowing purple eyes. This, was Elizabeth Kwannnon Braddock, aka the new reincarnator.

As Elizabeth slowly sat up, a low groan escaped her lips as she looked around “Where-” Elizabeth was cut off as words fluttered into form in front of her, words that got her eyes to widen slightly in surprise. 

[Congratulations on finishing your reincarnation, Elizabeth! Now that you have finished, the ability that has been chosen for you has awoken, the ability itself is incredibly simple]

[You gain the powers of Mutants from the Marvel universe (Except Omega level and beyond, they are currently locked) once every 3 months, by killing strong foes (which you will know is a strong foe instinctively), or by traveling to a new universe. You also have a simple status to keep track of your powers, but that is all. You have 1 mutant you can gain at the moment]

“...Arrowverse? That’s…not the worst world I could have ended up in, I guess” Elizabeth muttered, not sure if she should be happy or not. Arrowverse was full of tons of incredibly dangerous beings, ones that even she couldn’t do anything against, even with her new powers and knowledge she now housed. But, it was also a universe with tons of potential ways of growing in power, like the Speed Force. 

Seeing that she had a mutant she could gain the powers of, Elizabeth instinctively activated her new power, as a soft pink glow began to flicker around her, and a new name appeared in her status. A name that Elizabeth recognized from her previous life, and from some of the memories of Kwannon and the other Elizabeth.

“Blink? She’s a pretty skilled teleporter, with her longest range being to the moon and back. Not to mention the ability to turn the energy from her portals into small knives that will teleport whatever is hit, be it an object, a person, or even a small part of that person” Elizabeth muttered, remembering the character from the comics, and that her teleportation power was pretty strong, but not used to it’s full extent. 

Looking around her room, Elizabeth hummed ‘Let’s see where exactly I am’ Elizabeth thought, before walking out of what looked to be her bedroom. 

Walking into the hallway, Elizabeth’s eyebrow raised at the apartment that greeted her. 

“Seems the being that sent me here has given me a half decent place” Elizabeth muttered, as she looked at the rather large living room of her new apartment. It was rather impressive, and was connected to a stylish kitchen that was rather similar to the one she had in her previous life. 

Walking to her kitchen, she noticed a newspaper on the counter, and upon reading the name of it, she blinked. Recognizing the name as an incredibly important one, one of the most important cities in the entirety of not only the Arrowverse, but also DC comics. The city known as…

“I’m in…Central City”

Finding art for Psylocke that wasn't insanely sexual was…like completely impossible lol, I guess the comic artists know their audience of something. 

This will be my first Flash fanfic, with Caitlyn as the love interest. The mc isn’t super op and won’t be unstoppable, especially considering the foes she’ll be fighting, and how incredibly fast some of them are. She also can’t get omega level mutants, so that makes it much harder to get huge bursts of power. 

Spidergwen will get updated next, with another vault chapter coming either later today or tomorrow.
