Chapter 106 [Vault]

“Are you certain this is what you wish for, young miss?” Alfred asked, as he stood in front of Thea. 

She had, after talking with Alfred for quite some time, decided on enrolling into Kildare Academy, a private school. She had attempted to enroll in the public school, but Alfred refused to allow her to not go to the best school. She wasn’t very interested in going to school with a bunch of arrogant brats who don’t appreciate the wealth that they were born into, not like her, who had made sure to constantly give back to those in need through charity organizations she had her companies make.

She was currently standing on the stairs up to one of her private jets (she has many), ready to fly down to Outer Banks, which was in North Carolina, and parts of Southeastern Virginia, and was a bunch of barrier islands. 

“Yes, Alfred, I am. If I’m going to go to school, I want to at least enjoy my time there, and what better than to go to a beautiful little county like the Outer Banks?” Thea replied, trying to calm down Alfred, knowing the older man was just worried for her.

“I…understand. It is just hard to watch you leave” Alfred replied with a sigh, knowing that Thea was going there for a reason, as his young miss always had one. There was a reason why their company was in the top 50 biggest companies in the world, and was only continuing to grow larger and larger. 

“I know, Alfred. But you don't need to worry, alright? I’ll be okay” Thea said softly as she walked forward and softly hugged the man that had been taking care of her for years now. 

“Make sure to call at least once a week” Alfred said, causing Thea to chuckle. 

“Of course. I wouldn’t ghost you or anything, Alfred” Thea replied, hugging the man once more, before walking back to the private jet. 

“I shall miss you, Young miss” Alfred said with one final smile, as Thea gave him a wave, and boarded the private jet. 

Walking into the jet, Thea sighed as she sat in one of the seats, and leaned back, only to blink as something glowed into her vision.

The companies themselves were all pretty good all things considered, and would be fine additions to her overall company. Especially with all the subsidiaries she was getting from it. 

They also fit for the current year, which was 2005, and was definitely not in the same year that Outer Banks normally took place in, but from what the system had told her, the timeline had been moved around to better acclimate to the various other shows in the universe, which sort of messed up her entire view of the time period, but she realized that complaining was useless to her, so she just dealt with it. 

Sitting in her private jet, Thea sipped on her coffee as she leaned back, contemplating what to do after she finished high school. As she didn’t plan on going to college, as it was…completely useless to her. 

She planned on getting involved with Sons of Anarchy and Fast and Furious for sure. This was mostly because of the effects they could have on her businesses in those areas, and due to her interest in some of the technology that appeared in Fast and Furious. Yellowstone would be good to get involved with, as it could give her a connection to some ranches around the country through the Duttons, but whether or not they’d be willing to work with her was an entirely different problem. 

For now though, Thea decided to just lean back and sleep, as she had several hours of flying ahead of her.

After hours of flying, Thea’s jet finally landed, as she stepped out of the jet and onto the Outerbanks runway. It was a small place, but Thea sighed as she breathed in the air of what would become her new home for the next few years. 

Stepping onto solid ground, Thea looked around before stopping as one of the flight attendants tapped her shoulder “Mr Alfred told us to give this to you once you landed” the woman said with a smile as she handed Thea keys and a note, before walking back onto the plane. 

Raising an eyebrow, Thea read the note 

“I couldn’t send you there without a proper vehicle to drive in. And I have taken the liberty of buying a home for you, I do hope you enjoy your stay, young miss. Love, Alfred” 

Reading the note, Thea chuckled before walking off, her suitcase rolling besides her, and a bag over her shoulders. 

It didn’t take long before she found the car that Alfred had gotten her, and she couldn’t help but smile widely “Alfred…you know me so well”

Stepping into the vehicle, she looked down at the note and glanced at the address, before smiling and turning the vehicle on, sighing at the sound of the powerful engine within. 

“God I am so giving Alfred a raise after this” Thea whispered with a gleeful grin, as she pulled the car off, ready to get a good look at what her new home looked like.

Next chapter should be longer, not sure when that’ll come though.
