Chapter 121 [Vault]

[3rd POV] 

A girl walked leisurely through the streets of a small town in California, her sharp teeth ripping into a large piece of chicken, a pleased smile on her face as she munched on her food. 

This girl, was in fact, Kali. 

Time had passed since she had consumed the werewolves and had achieved her own human form, around a month in fact. 

During that time, she had found that whatever entity or being that had sent her to this realm, had in fact, given her a background, one that allowed her to safely return to society without worrying about having to make a false backstory or identity. Albeit the fact that she was classified as a missing person, made the coming back extremely annoying.

It also didn’t help that she was seemingly a homeless teen beforehand, so she was quite…lacking in funds. That aspect was taken care of after she raided the base of the pack that she had killed, as they had saved up and stolen quite a large amount of funds, around 750k.

Kali didn’t stay in her human form much during that month, as she far preferred her true form, as it was more comfortable and just felt…right. It was like she was wearing false skin at all times or something, and it didn’t help but her instincts constantly went crazy for food. 

During the month she hadn’t found a single werewolf or any other supernatural creature, much to her own disappointment. She had tried her best to find some, but it seemed they were much harder to find than she thought, especially when you were in some tiny town in the middle of nowhere, like she was. 

Which is why she decided to move. 

And there was only one proper place she could move to that would attract all sorts of tasty prey, that would increase her strength. And there was only one proper place to go in order to truly become an Alpha amongst all beasts, a King of them all. And that one place was…

Beacon Hills

The place was a literal magnet for all things supernatural, and was the perfect location to hunt down other creatures, like Werewolves. Even she could feel the pull towards the town thanks to the Nemeton and its supernatural pull towards the supernatural. 

The only downside of moving to Beacon, was that she was going to have to go to a very annoying place, one that she was heading to right now, and that place was…Beacon Hills Highschool. 

As much as she hated the idea of going to school with a bunch of irritating brats, she also knew that it was needed. She’d be able to get closer to the McCall kid and use that to hunt down many future foes that would give her a lot of power. Plus he genuinely seemed like he’d be fun to hang out with, especially Stiles, who she found to be amusing. 

Then there was Allison, who…she wasn’t afraid to admit she found to be extremely attractive. It wasn’t just her too, her very instincts went nuts at the mere thought of her, and she has already had a few weird dreams involving the girl. Which probably meant that this was more than a mere attraction, something…unique. 

It was that uniqueness that drew Kali in even more, and only made her want to go to Beacon Hills even more, which is exactly what she was doing now, walking towards the school. She didn’t really need sleep nowadays, which allowed her to make some breakfast and make her way to school on foot, a backpack on her back and a bored look on her face. 

Walking for a few more turns, Kali eventually found herself in front of a somewhat older looking High School. This was Beacon Hills Highschool, and the main character of a lot of very important events in the future. 

Walking closer to the entrance of the school, Kali began to breathe in deeper as an incredible scent assaulted her nose. It was…incredible, she wasn’t sure how to describe it, but whatever it was, it smelled divine, like all her favorite smells mixed in one, making a perfect mixture of scent. 

It was at this, that Kali turned her gaze, and her eyes constricted, as she stared upon…the perfect girl. 

Standing there was a rather tall girl, standing at an impressive height of 5’8, still shorter than Kali. She had curly dark brown hair, powerful brown eyes that glimmered in the sunlight, and rather adorable light freckles that dusted her perfect pale white skin. This teen was the 17 year old Allison Argent. 

Taking in every inch of the teens form, Kali purred audibly, and whispered, as her inner instincts went nuts at the sight of the girl “Pretty mate~”

As that word exited Kali’s mouth, she knew now why she had dreamed of this girl she gazed at. For the girl was her mate, her other half, her…soul. It wasn’t an all controlling sensation, but…it felt so very right, as Kali walked towards the one her inner instincts deemed as her mate. 

‘...Looks like Scott will have to find someone else’ Kali thought, inwardly growling at the prospect of anyone else touching Allison. Her Nundu instincts refused to even think of Allison with someone else. Not Scott and certainly not Isaac. 

Walking to the teen, Kali spoke up from behind her “You new here too?” 

Hearing the voice, Alllison jumped, having not noticed Kali as she swirled around, only to gape slightly at Kali who had an amused look on her face. Kali’s clothing was in line with the school's rules, but it also was rather…tight, and clearly showed her well defined abs, a six pack granted to her from all her power. 

“U-um yeah, I’m new here” Allison said, blushing slightly as she noticed the taller teens' abs. 

“Well, looks like we’ll both have to get used to this place. I’m Kali, Kali Ghirmai” Kali introduced herself, using the last name she had been given. It suited her, thanks to her Eastern African heritage that this body of hers held, alongside several others. But her Nundu side was especially in line with Africa, so she liked it either way. 

“I’m Allison, Allison Argent” Allison said, a slight dusting of pink coating her cheeks as Kali smirked at her. 

“So, what classes do you have, Allison?” Kali asked, hoping inwardly that whatever deity sent her here, had been nice enough to put her in the same classes as Allison. Like Allison, she was 17 but a Sophomore, this was thanks to her going missing for so long. 

“Oh um, here, this is the list” Allison said, handing Kali her class schedule as the taller teen looked it over, only for her eyes to light up in happiness. 

‘Whatever deity sent me here, thank you’ Kali thought, as she turned to Allison. 

“Well Allison, it looks like you and I have all the same classes” Kali replied, a pleased look on her face as Allison took her schedule back, a smile of her own forming on her face. 

“D-Do you want to go to class with me then? I’ve got no clue where I’m going, so we can be clueless together” Allison asked as Kali grinned. 

“After you, milady” Kali bowed in an exaggerated manner, as Allison giggled and began to walk into the school, all the while, Kali had a happy smile on her face, with one line of thought in her head. 

‘I think I’ll enjoy school~’

That’s the end of the chapter!

Kali has found her first (and potentially only) mate. Her mate things works similar to Talia’s, so no forced love or anything, just very very in tune with her, and only truly cemented once she seals the deal. 

Should this be a harem story, other potential members are: Malia, Lydia, and the best Kitsune, Kira. 

Another vault chapter or two might be coming today, as I’m in a vault chapter mood. That, and I probably won’t be updating daughter of God today, so this is the repayment until tomorrow when that’ll get updated.
