Chapter 135 [Vault]

[3rd POV] 

Walking through Tondc, Eivor ignored the stares of the different clans and their members, as they stared at her, as she walked through the village with the dead man hauled over her shoulder, her target location being wherever Lexa was. The girl deserved to know about the potential attack against the village, even if she had already stopped it. 

Stopping in front of Lexa, she lifted the man from her shoulder, and dropped him to the floor in front of her, as her eyes went wide “What is this?”

“A spotter from the Mountain Men. They were planning an attack, if what he was saying to his leader was any indicator. Too bad I noticed him and snapped his neck like a twig” Eivor replied, as Indra, who was standing next to Lexa, crouched down to look the body over. 

“He’s dead alright. Why didn’t you keep him alive? He could have been used for information” Indra asked. 

“That would have been the best choice had this man not been fiercely loyal to the Mountain Men. That, and with what I believe he was planning, it’s best to get rid of him before he had the chance to do anything” Eivor responded, knowing that if she had only captured him, it was likely that they’d have sent another spotter, this time more protected, and more hidden in order to bomb the hell out of the city. 

“What were they planning?” Lexa asked with a frown. 

“To bomb Tondc and everyone inside, killing us all in one blow. They would have sent something called a missile, which would have been more than enough to bomb the town, and everyone with it” Eivor replied, as Lexa’s eyes widened in surprise, a rare sight, but that only showed how dangerous this situation could have been. 

“Were there others? A spotter like that couldn’t have come alone. We must send out scouts and find them!” Indra yelled, preparing to gather a team, only for Eivor to speak up.

“No need. They’re all dead as well. I found them before this one. None of them had any proper combat training so it was easy to kill them” Eivor replied with a calm look on her face, knowing that an attack against Tondc couldn’t really happen anymore, not without sending more men, and risking more lives. And with her being an unknown enemy, it was highly unlikely that they’d do such a thing. 

“That-thank you, truly. You’ve just saved the lives of everyone in this village” Lexa said genuinely, likely awed by Eivors skill. She knew that she had combat experience, which was obvious from her killing the gorilla, but to effortlessly wipe out all of the hidden scouts that none of them noticed was incredibly impressive. 

Indra who heard all of this, went silent, before looking at Eivor with a serious glint in her eyes and speaking “You have not only saved the lives of villagers of other villages, but also my entire village. From now on, we shall be allies! Your enemies are my enemies, till the day I die!” Indra said with a determined look on her face. 

At this Eivor looked a little surprised “No need for that, Indra. Our villages being allies will bring prosperity to both of us. But I do thank you, and I promise that your enemies shall be mine” Eivor said in response, as Indra gave her a small smile, nodding as they shook hands. 

“Either way, I am grateful for what you have done for my people, Eivor. I promise I shall find a way to properly repay you” Indra replied, as Eivor just chuckled at the woman, knowing she won’t be able to change her mind.

Lexa looked at her silence, her opinion on Eivor only continuing to improve the more she talked with and heard this woman speak. She was continuing to shock her with her knowledge, skill, and personality, and she couldn’t help but find it incredibly charming. 

“You are incredible, do you know that?” Lexa asked, as Eivor looked at her in slight surprise, before smirking. 

“Oh certainly. But I think you’re pretty incredible too, Lexa. Afterall, not just anybody can run the coalition at your age, while fighting a war against the mountain men, and juggling the other villages and their own plots” Eivor responded with a small smile, as it was true, she really did find Lexa to be an incredible person. 

“I-thank you” Lexa said, stumbling over her words ever so slightly, causing Indra to raise an eyebrow, looking at her friend before a small smirk slowly formed on her face, as an idea came to mind. 

“Um, I don’t want to cut in, but what are we going to do now that we know the Mountain Men are watching us?” A feminine voice echoed, as Eivor turned, finding a shorter girl with long dark brown hair, and green eyes. This was a teen known as “Octavia Blake” and was the current protege of sorts to Indra, as well as a  member of the Sky Crew. 

Eivor had to admit that she was beautiful, but she ignored that as she turned to Indra who replied “I believe it is best we finish our plans in the coming days, should we wait too long, it will give them the chance to regroup and try and launch an attack again, one that will have a higher chance of working”

“I doubt they’ll do anything like that” Eivor spoke up, as Octavia looked at her with a frown. 

“Who are you?” Octavia asked with narrowed eyes and a frown on her face, having no idea who the hell this woman was. 

“I’m Eivor, the leader of a village some ways away from here. I traveled here after hearing about the coalition, as I thought that I could begin trade between my village and the ones here. I ended up running into Lexa here with Clarke when they were being attacked by some creature, a gorilla of some sort” Eivor responded, as Octavia glanced at Lexa and then Eivor, before asking the next question. 

“Well, Eivor, what makes you think they won’t try anything? They’ve got superior numbers and power, they’d be stupid not to take advantage of us all being in one place” Octavia asked as Eivor just smiled. 

“Because I already killed over a dozen of their scouts, and if their numbers are as small as I am expecting, then they’ll likely not have the numbers to spare any more. That, and I can easily notice and track down any scouts that might try and cause us problems. Trust me, they won’t be doing anything, not with me here” Eivor replied, explaining that they just didn’t have the necessary numbers to do something like that, as they were slowly dying out due to them not being able to handle the radiation of Earth. 

“That…makes sense actually” Octavia muttered in slight surprise, as Eivor turned to Lexa. 

“I’d actually like to talk to you about something alone, if you have the time” Eivor asked Lexa, who looked at her in slight confusion, before nodding her head, as they walked off together, to Lexa’s private room. 

The plan that Eivor wished to speak with Lexa about, relied on secrecy and no one knowing but the two of them, and if the plan worked as Eivor hoped it would, it would allow them to finish off the Mountain Men, without the unnecessary deaths, and the destruction of Mount Weather like what would have happened in canon. 

Moving through the village, they soon came upon Lexa’s small momentary home, as they walked into Lexa’s private room. 

Sitting across from Eivor, Lexa began.

“What is it you wished to speak about?” Lexa asked. 

“I’ve got a plan for how we can get into the Mountain without casualties on our sides, and hopefully not many of the innocents on their side” Eivor began, as Lexa looked at her with slightly widened eyes full of interest, before opening her mouth and speaking. 

“...Tell me about this…plan”

Basically just a shorter chapter of talking and explanations and that is about it.

1: Should Eivor get with Lexa, Clarke, and Octavia? Or just Lexa and Clarke?

2: Should Eivor and Lexa get together quickly like Clarke and Lexa did in canon? Or wait until “Season 3”?
