Time had passed since she had been reborn into the body of Kara Danvers, had become Kara Danvers. Months in fact. The power she had gotten was incredible, and it was growing constantly now that she was absorbing the solar radiation from the sun at rapid rates. 

Over the months, she had acted as her canon self would have. Beating the snot out of villains, “Losing” fights, and basically everything she had done in canon. Except of course, hooking up with James or anything like that, instead, she had let him down nicely and instead tried helping him and Lucy to stay together.

She had also made herself look FAR more competent than she would have otherwise. Not spilling oil into the bay around National City, not allowing criminal technology to get into civilian hands. Stuff like that. She had also done a lot more small time stuff, saving the little guys rather than focus more on the big stuff. 

This even included tracking down and taking down entire crime rings, gangs, and other groups. This had caused a LOT of attention worldwide, especially after she was spotted in other states tracking down a human trafficking ring. And of course, politicians threw a fit, but she ignored it. 

The thing that really rubbed Kara the wrong way, was the fact that her own sister Alex was trying to tell her to focus more on the alien threats and to leave the small time stuff to the normal people, even though that small time stuff was being allowed to grow and build up without any sort of stoppage. 

Over the months, her power had grown to the point that she was several times stronger than she was when she first reincarnated. It was more like a dozen times or so, but still. 

It got to the point that she had to go to the fortress of solitude to find the materials to make special cuffs that would limit her power to a small percentage of its base level. This would in turn allow for her to grow and adapt FAR faster than before, as she was under constant stress. 

Thanks to the Viltrumite species she had within her, she had to constantly upgrade these cuffs, before eventually she had to work with the AI within the fortress to make a pair of cuffs that would have the highest limit Kryptonian technology allowed, one that would last her at least a year before that too would be overwhelmed. 

Kara wasn’t even sure how strong she was at this point, as she hadn’t used her full true strength since she made the cuffs a week after taking over. But she was confident that she was far beyond any Kryptonian before, besides Rao himself. 

Beyond just physically, she had also been advancing mentally. And by advancing, it was more like catapulting forwards to a higher level. 

She had, in the months, read thousands of books. Ranging from books on lying, reading body language of others, martial arts, to books on various sciences, history, cooking, and even love. She had read them all, and thanks to her incredible comprehension, she had learned all of it with relative ease.

Martial arts in particular had been a focus of her learning, training and mastering pretty much every martial art on planet Earth, as well as ones from Krypton, all of them in fact. She still acted like she was awful in combat, losing to Alex when just using martial arts, but that was a cover. She could have defeated her in a single move, but never did. Pressure points were quite easy to hit for someone like her, after all. 

She even had to fake her weakness to kryptonite and the red sun, acting as if it was actually affecting her when it wasn’t. It wasn’t hard to do that once she read a ton of books on lying and faking her injuries, and learning to fake body language.

At the moment Kara was sitting in the fortress, bench pressing billions of tons with a sigh. It wasn’t that painful or draining, but it was a good workout for herself. It was a specialized material that was made to mimic high weights, allowing her to workout with just about any weight she wanted. 

Dropping the barbell to the ground in front of her, Kara let out a sigh as she grabbed the nearby towel and wiped off the sweat that caked her toned figure, her abs glistening as she was currently wearing a workout bra and shorts. 

“Looks like I need to up the weight again” Kara said, noticing that the weight wasn’t enough for her anymore. With her viltrumite physiology, she was constantly adapting to the new weights she lifted, albeit slowly. And as of now, she was usually wearing weighted clothing specially made in the fortress, weighing billions of tons on its own, as well as the cuffs that also applied several times the gravity of the Earth on her at all times. 

“Upping the gravity would be good too, Rao knows I need a better workout” Kara said with a sigh, downing some water from her large water bottle. Quenching her thirst. 

Glancing at the time, she blurred as in an instant, she was back with some casual clothes. 

“Alright then, time to get on over to Catco, and then have the first meeting with Lena Luthor!” Kara cheered, excited to meet the woman that she totally didn’t have a HUGE crush on. 

She was still working at Catco, even though her desire to work there was lessening every month, as she began to find herself enjoying what she was supposed to do when on Krypton, science. She was…well, at this point in time, she was confident that she was well beyond anyone else on Earth in the area, she just hasn’t been able to utilize that knowledge yet. 

She had ended up saving the venture already, the ship that Lena was supposed to be on. She did it with her cousin Clark, who she had a rather…complicated relationship with, as he had pretty much completely ignored her existence since she had arrived on Earth, besides the occasional text every year or so. 

She still loved the man of course, but she wasn’t really in the mood to talk to him, not with him acting like she didn’t exist. She liked Lois well enough though, as she did talk to the woman surprisingly frequently, mostly because the woman was really interested in her different crime ring breakdowns around the country that she had been doing recently. 

Now that she had all her stuff, and she was cleaned up, Kara took off from the fortress with a soft boom, disappearing as she flew through the skies towards Luthor Corp, where she would officially meet Lena Luthor for the first time.

After arriving outside of the building, she noticed her cousin Clark waiting for her. 

“Kara! Where were you at? We’re nearly late” Clark asked, glancing at the time on his watch.

“Oh sorry, I was, um…out fighting some crime, you know how it is” Kara replied with a smile, lying directly to his face, and the man seemed to buy it as he nodded. 

“Alright, just, c’mon, let’s get in” Clark said, as they both walked into the building, and were promptly led to where the woman was waiting for them. 

And after rounding a few corners and walking for a bit, Kara got her first good look at…Lena. And she couldn't help but breathe in deeply as she gazed at what was probably the most beautiful woman she had ever seen, in both this life and her last. 

‘O-Oh Rao she looks even better in person!’ Kara thought, fighting down the blush that threatened to form on her cheeks as Lena walked towards them with a smile on her face. 

Seeing the welcoming smile on her face as she walked towards them, Kara only had one thought in her struggling brain.

’…This is going to be dangerous’

I decided to skip season 1 as…it was basically going to be the same as canon. Season 2 will also be mostly in the background for the beginning, as instead, the chapters will focus more on Kara and Lena interacting, as Lena is her love interest (as she should have been in the show).
