[Braavos | Year: 115 AC]
[12 Years since Leandra Lannister left Westeros, 17 years since the birth of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, and nearly 2 years since the birth of Prince Aegon Targaryen]
Sitting within her personal office, Leandra sat back in her leather chair, sipping on a cup of tea, as she looked over the reports of her people around the world. Of the recent happenings and the events that had taken place in the past few days.
Over the 12 years, Leandra had grown into an immense beauty, both beautiful and almost handsome at times. Standing at a tall 5’10, with pronounced muscle over her form, and scars from battle littering her abs and arms. Her powerful green eyes looking over the papers in front of her in contemplative silence.
[Something like this, but the classic blonde of House Lannister, and Green eyes]
”Seems the Triarchy is beginning to amass properly” Leandra hummed, sitting back. She had been keeping close eyes on its movements and found it…wholly unimpressive. The alliance was flimsy at best, and aggressive with one another at worst. All it would take was poking at the right angle and it would fall apart easily.
“But alas the King of Westeros is a weakling so nothing will happen on that end” Leandra mused, knowing that the man was a naive fool who allowed himself to get manipulated until the very end, by his wife, by his hand, by everyone around him.
“Rhaenyra would be a better Queen, should she not sire bastards” Leandra muttered, as she knew that her having bastards is what kicked off the Dance of the Dragons, and was the entire problem that had started the downfall of the house of the dragon.
“The real question is whether or not I wish to bother helping her” Leandra whispered, knowing that she would be a powerful ally, but was also a bit foolish. Her beauty was certainly appealing to Leandra, but not enough to aid her with something that could bring the downfall of everything she had built over the decade.
“I suppose I’ll just have to see what she does in this world. After all, my appearance may have changed things” Leandra said with a chuckle, doubting it, but interested in seeing.
Glancing to the side, she sighed, missing the two men who had been standing by her side all her life.
It had been two years since Jaime and Tywin had disappeared, fading off, returning to the afterlife, or whatever it was they were from. No proper warning besides that they felt it happening.
She had long since surpassed the two, but she still missed them. Jaime being an uncle figure to her, and Tywin being a sort of grandfather to her, one that made her into the woman she was today.
Noticing the sadness on their owners face, her beloved lions softly purred, rubbing their faces against her legs as she looked down at them and chuckled.
“It’s alright my cubs, just reminiscing is all” Leandra said, scratching behind their ears, their purrs growing louder as they laid back down to sleep next to their master.
As she began to look over the reports again, she stopped as her door had been knocked on.
“Come in” Leandra said, as the door slowly opened, a tall man walked in with long dark hair. This man was the one in charge of her spy ring, the man known as “Davios” a Westerosi man that had been captured as a young child by slavers.
“My lord…it’s…you should read this” Davios said, cringing as he reached his hand out, a note in his hands, sadness on his face as he looked at his Lord. He wished to call her “Your Grace” but Leandra always refused, as she was no King or Queen, not yet. Not until she conquered more land, and announced herself to the world, which she wouldn’t do for a long time.
Leandra frowned at the response, as Davios was usually a rather warm man, if not quiet. But this…this was different.
And as she grabbed the note, and began to read it. Her face slowly warped, as the frown began to change to an expressionless one. Her eyes grew cold as she read it over and over.
“…Is this confirmed?”
”…Yes my Lord, our spies in Westeros have confirmed the information. I wouldn’t dare bring it to you if it wasn’t” Davios replied, as Leandra silently gazed at the paper.
“…Who? Who did it Davios?” Leandra asked, looking up from the note.
“…We suspect it was the Reyne’s. One of the men in the Westerlands had been in Castamere during the time it had occurred, and had overheard whispers of the Lord plotting something due to the increased taxes he had been put under” Davios replied, as Leandra couldn’t help but laugh, a laugh of rage echoing from her.
”So a fucking false cat dares do-do THIS!” Leandra roared, slamming her fist against the wooden table as the note lay flat on the table, with it reading.
“The Red Cats laid a trap. The golden family caught, all gone with the winds. The King is the last of the Golden ones. Whispers were spoken, none know what to do. The wingless lizard is cowardly, and wishes to not cause conflict. Speaking of handing the crown to the red cats, for none know who had done it”
Her family, the Lannisters, had been slaughtered. Every, last, one. All done in what seemed to be a well planned attack by the Reyne’s due to an increased taxing on them, during what seemed to be an outing that Jason had orchestrated to have the family bond more. Or perhaps due to their greed for more lands, or something else. What it was, Leandra knew not, but she knew that this was because of her influence, as if the Gods themselves had caused this, so that she would HAVE to return to Westeros.
For she was the last Lannister, the Last Lion.
And she would not let some mere…cats, false Lions in red coats, survive.
“This will not pass, Davios! It will not, I will not allow it! My brothers lie dead! My cousins! My family!” Leandra snarled, gritting her teeth as she showed the most anger she had felt in her entire life, fighting back the urge to do anything more.
“My lord does this mean-“ “Yes, Davios…it is time I return to Westeros. I will not allow some red cat cunt to take the Westerlands from my family. I will rain hell upon the fuckers that have done this, and will take my place as the Warden of the West. My lands in Essos shall remain under my rule, but I shall place those I trust in charge, and I trust that you all will be able to do this without me. Understood?” Leandra said, as the man nodded, understanding why she wished to do this.
“Understood, my lord. I will ensure that everything runs smoothly, no matter how long you are gone. I swear it on all of the Gods” Davios said, giving her a nod, no doubt in his mind that he would do what his lord had said. If there was one thing that Leandra had plenty of, it was loyalty from her people, for she had saved them, given them better lives, and they WOULD remember it.
“…Good. Prepare my ship as well as a small fleet. I want all of them to be ready to fly the sigil of my House when we reach Lannisport, for I want all of Westeros to understand that House Lannister is NOT gone, not while I live and breathe” Leandra ordered, as the man bowed, before walking off to do what she had ordered.
As the man left and closed the door behind him, Leandra leaned back, letting out a shuddered breath, not allowing tears to fall. She wasn’t close to her brothers, but she still frequently exchanged letters with them, even if they didn’t understand how that was possible.
‘I will not cry, not now, not ever’ Leandra swore to herself, for the only time she would allow herself to cry, was if she ever had children.
“…I’m sorry, Jason, Tyland…I swear on the Gods to avenge you for what has happened. And I swear that none shall look down upon the Lannister name, not now, not ever” Leandra swore out loud, her expression steeled as she kept this to heart, and prepared herself for what would come next.
For she would be returning home, after 12 long years. And with it, everything would change.

That’s the end of the chapter!
Next chapter will be her arriving back in Westeros. She’ll be dealing with the Reyne’s quite quickly (as she is not one to waste time), so she’ll likely be meeting Viserys and Rhaenyra within a few chapters. I am currently very much enjoying writing this, so this’ll probably get a good bit more chapters.
Anyways, have a good day!
