A few days later, the two decided to meet up for their first “Mission” which was to reveal the dark doings of a billionaire that had been up and coming. The meeting place? A dark alley where Skye had parked her van that she had lived out of.

”This is not exactly what I was expecting when I thought of the base of a rising tide member like you” Sombra said in amusement as she sat in the back of the cramped van alongside Skye.

“My base is perfect though! It’s moving, hard to properly track, and quite comfy” Skye defended her van, as Sombra snorted.

“Sure hermosa whatever you say” Sombra responded, as Skye glanced at her when she heard the title. Sombra had called her that several times whenever they talked or met up, and it made her flush each and every time.

Skye was bisexual, and as a bisexual woman, Sombra was VERY attractive. Like, annoyingly sexy, to the point that it was becoming difficult to not glance whenever Sombra’s cleavage was shown, or whenever she bent over.

And with the two of them being so close to one another at the moment, it was even harder.

“So, what exactly are you planning on hacking, and how can I help?” Skye asked, as it was Sombra who had asked to meet.

“A nasty little man called “Justin Hammer”. A filthy rich piece of garbage that had managed to get out of going to prison thanks to his political connections, and the money he has” Sombra responded, as Skye looked surprised.

“You mean the guy that caused the fiasco at the Stark expo a couple of years ago? How much does that guy even have left” Skye asked.

“A lot more than you’d think. Several billion dollars left, and his company is already starting to bounce back after all of it. It will never be like what it used to be, of course, but it will become a huge company eventually” Sombra responded, as Skye frowned.

“Why is it that rich pricks like him always get off scot free, while the normal people like us would get put into prison for life?” Skye asked, grumbling in anger as Sombra sighed.

“That’s just the way the world works, Skye. But, we can always try our best to make sure they are properly punished for what they have done. Like in the case of this man, who will be broke by the end of the day, all his money funneled to those that deserve it” Sombra responded, as Skye sighed.

“I know it’s just…hard to accept that it's like this”

“You don’t have to accept it, Skye. You just need to work hard to change it” Sombra responded, as Skye looked at her, before smiling slightly as they began to get to work.

Skye at one point moved over to Sombra’s side as they worked side by side, quite literally. Shoulders touching as they rapidly hacked into and funneled all the funds of the man to various charities around the world, helping tens of thousands.

Eventually, after a little over an hour of work, the two had finished with the wiping of Justin Hammer's wealth, at least, the money he had in his bank accounts. His physical wealth was a completely different thing. And she couldn’t do much about that, besides making an algorithm that would drain his account every time a single cent was put into it.

“Man…that was a lot easier than it should have been” Skye said, a little surprised at how easy that had been. She thought it would be two to three hours long, but instead it was only a single hour.

“Well I guess we’re just that good huh? Working together I mean” Sombra said, as Skye looked over at her, before a small blush dusted her cheeks as she realized how close she and Sombra were. And she couldn’t help but glance down at Sombra’s plump lips, before awkwardly looking away.

“Soooo, what next?” Skye said awkwardly, as Sombra inwardly laughed, obviously seeing the way Skye had glanced at her lips.

“I was thinking we could go get something to eat” Sombra offered, as Skye looked over at her with a raised eyebrow.

“Are you asking me out on a date?” Skye asked, eyes wide in surprise, a blush on her cheeks as she locked eyes with Sombra.

“Yes, yes I am” Sombra responded with a smile, not even sugar coating her intentions. She wanted to go on a date with Skye, and she wanted to hook up with Skye. The girl was absolutely everything she wanted in a partner, and she would love for that to happen.

“Well…Okay, yeah, I’ll go out to lunch with you” Skye responded after a few moments, the small blush still dusting her cheeks, while inwardly her heart was beating a bit faster.

“Fantastic! I know this great Indian place down the road” Sombra said with a grin, the door of the van sliding open as she stepped out, Skye alongside her.

All the while, Skye was smiling slightly, finding that she was excited for this little date they were about to go on.

The date with Skye had ended up going very well, so well that they ended up repeating it several times over the next week, as they began to grow closer and closer to one another. With Sombra revealing some facts about herself, and Skye returned in kind.

The two had grown close over the two weeks, close enough that it finally came to a head, after the two had hacked and outed a rather nasty billionaire that had a disgusting…liking of underage girls, very very underage girls.

Sitting next to Skye in the diner that they frequented, the two were silent.

“…That man…he’s a monster” Skye said, remembering the images that she nearly saw, she hadn’t seen them, as Sombra had turned the laptop before she could see the man's “Proof of Dominance” as he dubbed it. And it was not something she would ever want to see.

Sombra was able to control her fury thanks to her own knowledge and training from her various characters, which made her very very mentally strong. Strong enough to control the rage that was simmering on the edge, the desire to ruin the man in ways much worse than what she had done, threatening to happen.

“He is. But he’s a monster that will be going to jail. No amount of lawyers will get him out of that, Skye. And once he is put into Prison…well, the inmates don’t take kindly to people like him, so he won’t be getting out, ever. And if he somehow does…well, I’ll take care of it, I promise” Sombra said softly, as Skye looked at her.

“How-how can you not be angry? You-you aren’t even reacting, and you’re the one who saw all those awful things! I didn’t even see the photos and I’m pissed, but you did. How…how can you control yourself?” Skye asked, as Sombra smiled softly.

“Because I have seen this before, Skye. Not all of the people I have hacked were hacked just for their wealth, some of them are for reasons like why I wanted to hack this man. Because they are monsters in human skin, who deserve to rot” Sombra responded.

“But-how do you deal with it? Aren’t you angry?” Skye asked, not angry or anything, just wondering.

“Of course I am Skye! I am furious right now. All I want to do is find the man and kill him in person, BUT I have a lot of self control. And I know that killing him will not turn out well. Not with organizations like S.H.I.E.L.D. and the FBI that are no doubt watching him closely” Sombra responded with a clench of her fist, trying to control her own fury.

“And not only that, but I cannot afford to kill him, not when it can implicate you, not when it can get S.H.I.E.L.D. to start looking for you, more than they already are” Sombra added, as Skye looked at her.

”I don’t need your protection, Sombra”

”No, you don’t. But I’m still going to give it” Sombra responded with a soft smile.

“Why?”

”Because I care about you, Skye, a lot. And I never want to see you hurt, or hunted down by some super secret government organization” Sombra said, as Skye locked eyes with her, biting her lip as she lifted her hand.

“Check please!”

And 20 minutes later, Skye was pushed against the wall of the hotel room Sombra had gotten, gasps echoing from her as Sombra pressed slow kisses against her neck.

“Mmhmm, god I should have done this a lot sooner” Skye sighed out, as Sombra smirked, reaching up and pressing her lips against Skye’s, who melted into it with a happy smile.

“And I should have kissed those beautiful lips of yours far sooner” Sombra said in response, as Skye laughed.

“Yeah I can see that. Considering mini-Sombra seems to be pretty excited right about now” Skye said with a smirk, as Sombra blinked and realized she was…very excited at the moment.

“Ah-I-“ “Sombra, I already knew. Besides the fact that I’ve seen you in boxers once, I’ve also felt it rub against be before when we danced at that club that one time” Skye cut her off, smirking as she began to lower her hand.

Feeling where her hand was trailing, Sombra locked eyes with Skye.

“You’re playing a dangerous game, hermosa” Sombra said huskily, her excitement rising as Skye leaned into her ear and sexily whispered.

“Good thing I like it dangerous~”

What followed was hours of passion, and the realization that Sombra was really really really good at sex. As in, Skye was limping the next morning after the night of passion she had with Sombra.

And it also lead to a conversation during breakfast, with Skye dressed in a gown that covered her form, while Sombra was in her boxers and a top.

”So….what does this make us, Sombra?”

”What do you want this to make us?” Sombra asked in response, locking eyes with Skye as Skye smirked.

“Girlfriends for sure. Besides the fact that I really really really like you, you’re also like the hottest person I have ever met. Well, that and you’re basically a Sex God” Skye responded, as Sombra laughed.

“Good, because I’d hate to take a shower alone~” Sombra smirked, as Skye let out a laugh and followed after her without hesitation.

It had been two weeks since that had happened. Since the two had begun dating. And it was…fantastic. The dates were amazing and really fun, Skye was…sexy and very very fun to be around, and the two were basically inseparable at this point.

In Skye’s case, she was even more in love than Sombra was, unknowingly to the purple eyed woman.

Skye had never felt the warmth and love that Sombra had given her, the sensation of belonging, the knowledge that someone truly loved and cared for her. And she cared and loved her back.

Skye didn’t really mean to fall in love so quickly, but she couldn’t help it. Sombra was…everything she wanted in someone. Smart, funny, hot…insanely good in bed, and caring. Not to mention her skills in hacking.

Seriously, Skye had never seen someone as good as Sombra, not even remotely. The woman was easily the best hacker she had ever seen, and Skye had actually started to learn from her, with Sombra becoming a sort of teacher at the same time.

Teacher roleplay had been a very fun side effect of that.

This also meant that Skye had been contemplating the idea of leaving the Rising Tide entirely, to work with Sombra and even do their own thing. Their own hacker group that could actually change and improve the world as a whole.

Besides learning hacking from Sombra, her sexy intelligent girlfriend had also been teaching her martial arts, so she could defend herself in case Sombra wasn’t there for whatever reason.

And Sombra was VERY good at it, at martial arts. Skye had yet to land a proper blow on her yet, which was increasingly irritating, but also weirdly hot.

Either way, Skye was completely and utterly in love with Sombra, and had grown almost possessive of the woman that was there for her…always.

And Sombra was the same way. Watching over Skye at all times, making sure her beloved was safe. Keeping an eye out for S.H.I.E.L.D, knowing that they would eventually make their appearance. And once that happens, then thing would begin to ramp up.

But she would be ready.

After all, she had been saving up quite a lot of tickets over the past weeks.

Staring at her total of 10 VGT tickets, Sombra smiled. She was currently sat in the back of Skye’s van, knowing that today was the day “canon” would begin, and the Agents of Shield would come after her and Skye.

And she was ready.

Reading through this, Sombra could only smirk, as the van door slid open, and Skye climbed in with an excited gleam in her eyes. Only one thought on her mind as Skye began to excitedly talk about the man she had just met, and that was…

That’s the end of the chapter!

Decided that this is going to go down the same route as Arrow: The Prodigy. Aka her and Skye got together very quickly. This is mostly because I rarely have romance happen early on in my vault fics, and I think I should do that more often.

Her and Skye’s relationship will be developed a lot more over the next chapters, but I can tell you now that Skye will be almost Yandere-ish in terms of her relationship with her. Obsessive but not overly so. But Sombra is the same in return.

Daughter of God and Bookstore Witch should be getting updated in a bit.

I’ll be doing an R18 chapter soon, promise. BUT I cannot stay up late tonight, as I am going to a football game tomorrow (American Football) and have to get up quite early for it. But once I’m back from the game tomorrow, I should be able to stay up and pump out a couple of chapters.

Sorry about the lack of R18 ones, I’ll try to update it at least twice a week starting soon, no promises though.

I’ve also been binge watching Agents of Shield, so you might see some more fics on it soon. And I plan on making at least one with the love interest being the adorable Simmons, and another being the serious Melinda May.
