Chapter 260 [Vault]

Title - HOTD: Rhaenyra the Exiled | Chapter 4 | Female

__________________________________________________

[3rd POV] [Over the years] [116 - 126 AC]

After the marriage of Rhaenyra and Laena, which had been a private, but enjoyable event, they had immediately started using the ritual. Making love to one another every single night while utilizing the ancient ritual. A ritual made to allow for them to have children…and they did.

After only a single week of using the ritual, Rhaenyra had found her wife throwing up while taking a bath. And after speaking with several doctors, she had gotten confirmation.

Her wife was pregnant.

It was seen as a miracle by many, seeing as they were both women, and her wife was actually pregnant with her children. Not only that, but they all knew for a fact that Laena had never even thought of touching another.

Rhaenyra wouldn’t allow it. She was possessive of her wife, in the sort of way that would make some uncomfortable, but only made Laena…horny.

After nine months of dealing with the pregnancy, Laena had officially given birth to not one child, but two. Little Jacaerys Targaryen and Baela Targaryen, twins.

The same two children that would have normally been born this year in the canon world. Something that Rhaenyra was concerned with, hoping that they wouldn’t have similar fates, and hoping that her wife wouldn’t suffer possible difficulties like she would have normally.

But that was not the case. A year later, her wife came to her, wearing the most revealing lingerie she had, the ritual prepared, and promptly begged to do the ritual again, that she wanted more children.

And Rhaenyra had given her them.

The next children to be born were another set of twins, Rhaena Targaryen and Lucerys Targaryen, both born in the year 118 AC.

Her wife wanted a lot of children, that much Rhaenyra knew. And even after several check ups that she had personally done herself, her wife was completely and utterly healthy. Which came to a realization…

That the ritual had NONE of the potential risks normal pregnancy does. That it was…completely and utterly safe. That her wife could not die from the ritual, for she was blood of the dragon, and the ritual was made to not only allow two women to have children together, but ALSO to protect the one giving birth, allowing for her to have as many children as she wants, without risk of death.

A huge boon that was. And upon learning of it, her and Laena fucked like rabbits. Her wife was…VERY insatiable (partly because Rhaenyra was so good at sex that she made her wife unravel with a couple of movements) and wanted a huge family.

Rhaenyra was a bit concerned with this, but her wife was very very set on having a bunch of cute little babies. Stating that she wanted a large family, one that would always be there for one another.

She even said she wanted at least 10 children.

Rhaenyra had promptly choked on her own spit when hearing the number.

Later in the year 119 AC, the triplets were born. The first and only group of triplets that had.

Two sons and a daughter. Aemon Targaryen, Aenar Targaryen, and their younger sister, Daenys Targaryen.

Daenys was born…different. The first and only of her children that had sadly been born with a disability.

She was born blind. Something that Rhaenyra had extensively looked into fixing, to try and heal her daughter of the wound placed upon her, her wife’s heart was broken that their daughter had to deal with this. But upon looking into it, Rhaenyra realized something.

Her daughter Daenys was so very special. As she was not “Blind” not in the traditional sense. No, she could see more than just about any other, with only Rhaenyra herself having superior sight.

She was a dreamer, an incredibly powerful one. Not only that, but she was a warg, using animals and pets to see, as well as the dragon that had bonded to her, a dragon that was the exact opposite of her kind and soft spoken personality.

The Cannibal.

Her dragon was the Cannibal. It had descended upon their home the moment she was born, and was very protective of her. But it was also a great boon.

After her triplets were born, Rhaenyra had been…a bit nervous with the idea of having more, of her wife suffering that heartbreak again. But again, her wife was serious about having more, and they did.

A little over two years later the last twins had been born. Two daughters, little Visenya Targaryen and little Rhaenys Targaryen, named after Laena’s mother, and a sweet little thing. While Visenya was just like her namesake, a warrior like her Kepa.

The children all called Rhaenyra Kepa, which meant father in Valyrian. In the common tongue they just called her Mama. While Laena was Muna or Mother/Mommy.

The last of the children that they had during these years was born in the year 123 AC, and was a son. Maekar Targaryen, the youngest of their ten children that they currently had together. And the last that they would have for some time.

Each of the children had a dragon, most of them had hatched with them. But there two were other dragons besides Cannibal that had bonded to them.

Her other two sons apart of the triplets, Aemon and Aenar had both bonded to dragons. Aemon had personally bonded to…Vermithor, the powerful dragon that had previously been bonded to Jaehaerys Targaryen. While Aenar had bonded to Silverwing, the mate to Vermithor, and a slightly smaller dragon.

All the dragons of the family had started to grow faster than before. With even Vhagar beginning to grow at a heightened pace, its old wounds healed after Laena had officially bonded to it the first time.

It as all thanks to Rhaenyra. Who had secretly been learning and creating methods to heal and grow them. And even without that, her children had a hand in it. As they didn’t realize it, but they had all inherited some of her gifts, like her impressive physical strength, natural magical talent, and a couple of others. But none of them had inherited the dreaming trait besides Daenys.

They were of course weaker than her own, but still stronger than just about any other, and could grow further through training.

Over the years, besides having a lot of children, Rhaenyra had been growing a lot in other ways. More specifically, in terms of pure militaristic power.

Pentos had not been the only city to fall to her control. The next that came happened after the first twins had been born, and similar to Pentos, had fallen within only a month of work.

The city of Qohor. The city famed for its warlocks hadn’t even been able to fight back when she took it over, it’s warlocks submitting to her vastly superior magical might, and her growing dragon.

Taking over Qohor had given her the means to begin growing a proper standing army, one that would be used against the Hightowers and their allies in the future. As just like she was expecting, they had already begun to sow seeds of doubt in Westeros, especially regarding her right to take the throne after being banished.

Obvious manipulation, but manipulation that was working.

Qohor had also been a huge boon to her thanks to their excellent smiths, which had been willing to teach others after she promised a living shit load of gold, and promising that none of their techniques would spread beyond those they teach.

And they didn’t.

The Unsullied of the Free City had also been a pretty good addition to her army, and had been ordered to train lesser skilled soldiers immediately, so that her army would be as adept as humanly possible.

After Qohor she decided to turn back West, and went after two different cities in tandem. Norvos and Lorath.

They were quite a bit weaker than Qohor, and not nearly as impressive. But they did give her a bit of an addition to her army, and their locations were a great boon as well, allowing for her budding trade Empire to rapidly begin to grow in their areas.

After Norvos and Lorath, she turned further East, to…Saath, Morosh, Ibben, New Ibbish, Far Ib, Nefer, and the Thousand Islands.

All of these lands were…laughably weak, to the point that she was able to rapidly take control over each and every one of them with no difficulty whatsoever.

It once again wasn’t their militaristic might that she wanted, but their potential for growth and trade. As they housed several rare materials and resources that were scarcely found in the rest of the world, if not at all. They also had tons of land that were perfect for growing her territories and developing more soldiers and a proper naval fleet.

A fleet that she wanted to surpass even that of Nymeria’s of old.

In order to build that fleet, she needed even more wealth, more power at the seas, more control over trade and its workings. And so, the next city she had conquered, was…

Qarth.

Not just Qarth, but all of the surrounding cities and the islands nearby. All of them taken under her control with just as much ease as she had been expecting, with only a Dothraki hoard being an annoyance, one that had been burnt to crisp by Vhagar and Syrax.

They hadn’t actually attacked Qarth or anything, but they had wandered a bit too close, so they were wiped out like the scourge that they were. There was only a specific number of them that Rhaenyra was even slightly tempted to recruit, and that would only be years later.

With the guilds under her control within Qarth, Rhaenyra had decided to take control over another major city throughout Essos, one that was a major player in Slavery, and was the rival to Braavos, and that was…

Volantis.

She had been tempted to go after Slavers Bay, but she understood that the bay was not something she could take without drawing a lot of attention to herself. As if they just stopped their act of slavery, it would draw a lot of questions. So, she decided to go for Volantis first.

Taking Volantis had been…very easy.

Scarily easy.

All because of…the followers of R’hllor. They had brought the city to heal before she even entered the damn thing, all for her. For “The Bringer of Azor Ahai” the one who the destined hero would descend from, the woman who would bring forth the dawn that would fight the Winter.

It was an interesting story, but she doubted it was entirely true.

Either way she was…pleased. Having Volantis in her growing “Empire” was a good good thing. With it’s economical power, naval power, and overall power across the continent, she could now safely take over Slavers Bay, and go against the Hightowers in the future.

While in Volantis, she had heard word of her distant cousin, Saera Targaryen, a woman who ran a very famous pleasure house. But, she decided to leave her alone for now, as after looking into it, the woman hadn’t been doing anything wrong. She just…

Got around.

By the time she had conquered Volantis, it had been around 3 years before what normally would have been her wife’s funeral. Meaning she had three years before she would more than likely be going back to Westeros.

Giving her more than enough time to complete her last two missions.

The first of them had been the conquest of Slavers Bay, which had been…well, about as underwhelming as you’d assume. None of them were even able to fight back, and the entire thing had been dubbed as a “Rebellion” by the slaves within the cities, a coordinated effort that had ended in the newly restructured bay.

All other cities in the surroundings to the East, as well as the ones towards Volantis had been conquered, all islands were now being used to build ports and for other materials.

Not really the most exciting “War” that had been.

So, she enjoyed the next two years on the seas, traveling through her various cities while wiping out mass amounts of pirates around the areas. Killing those that didn’t deserve to live, assimilating those that did, and growing her fleet.

She had done something similar to Dothraki, Sellsword companies, and other groups. Killing those that were better off dead, and assimilating the others into her growing army. An army that was around 70,000 strong. It would be much stronger once she really started to go after the Dothraki.

She actually had more like 100,000 in her army. But the remaining ones wouldn’t be able to travel to Westeros with her if need be. As they’d remain in order to protect her territories.

And while her army wasn’t actually the largest, not even as large as the ones in Westeros (The Reach had 100,000 and the Westerlands ranged from 50,000 to 75,000). And if she was to fight against the Greens, she would need more.

As the Greens army would likely be closer to 200,000 soldiers, as well as their dragons. The dragons weren’t particularly a big problem for her, with her side having more dragons, and much much much more dangerous ones.

Syrax alone was now bigger than Vhagar at this point in time, and was well known by her followers as the “Golden Apocalypse”. A beautiful creature that had flames that were even hotter than Balerions or the Cannibals.

And then she had Vhagar, Silverwing, Vermithor, The Cannibal, and the other dragons of her children that were slowly but surely growing, and most of them faster than any other dragons in recorded history.

Not to mention those that would ally with her. The Valeryons would for certain, so that would give her Meleys. Her uncle…she honestly wasn’t sure how that would go. She had no idea if the fool would swear to her or if he would try to make a third faction. If he did swear to her, she’d also get Caraxes.

But considering he was married to a woman named “Liana Rogare” which connected him with a rather powerful family from Lys, and the Rogare bank. Which thanks to them now being connected to Daemon, was actually growing in power.

To the point that they would surpass even the Iron Bank if they continued on this path. And with this woman, he had three children. Two sons and a daughter. All three of them have hatched a dragon, according to her informants.

The sons were also…quite close to their sister, in a…interesting way. They were a year older than her, making them the same age as her eldest.

She doubted he would support her if he had the Lys supporting him like she was anticipating.

She’d just have to get an even better bank to support her when the time comes, and that would be the Iron Bank. But that would be for the future.

As at the moment Rhaenyra was sitting in her office in Volantis. The primary home that she had been living in for the past couple of years. She was filling out some paperwork she had, including trade agreements, new lands to be plotted for farming, and a few other things.

She was cut off from her work as the door opened, causing her to look up, only to smile as she saw her wife standing there. Only, her smile dropped when she saw tears in Laena’s eyes.

“My love? What’s wrong?” Rhaenyra asked, jumping to her feet in worry. She was a tall woman, standing at around 6’0, only a couple of inches taller than her “Other Self”. She also had abs and an appropriate amount of muscle.

While her wife was much shorter than her, standing at around 5’6. But she was drop dead gorgeous, with chocolate colored skin that Rhaenyra loved to press kisses against. With a bubbly arse and plump breasts. Long white hair and gorgeous eyes. She was everything she wanted in a woman, and in Rhaenyra’s eyes, was perfection.

Laena didn’t respond, and instead just handed a paper to Rhaenyra, who looked down at it, only to still as her eyes softened, and a sorry expression formed on her face.

“Oh my love…I am so sorry” Rhaenyra softly spoke, as she moved forward and brought her wife close, as Laena sobbed into her chest. For news had just arrived, and that news was…

Laenor Valeryon…

Was dead

That’s the end of the chapter!

Originally was going to be longer, but I’ve done enough GOT fanfics where the mc conquers lands for you to get the gist of what she’s done. She hasn’t conquered Braavos just yet.

Her children will be shown in the next chapter. For the most part they look the same as in canon (for her first four) only they are mixed and a bit taller + more beautiful/handsome.

More will be explained about Laenor and what happened in the next chapter.

Anyways, have a good day!
