Chapter 112: The Saiyans Shop
Added 2025-11-02 09:35:31 +0000 UTC[1st POV]
Seeing Goku and Vegeta in person is definitely a new experience for me. The two characters that originated from the show that originally got me into anime when I was younger. They were some of the most iconic characters in fiction, and were amongst my favorites of all time.
They were also from a universe that I am very interested in visiting. I would love to meet that little Zeno figure, he was decently powerful and I was interested in copying that power of his. As he evidently had some sort of destructive power that surpassed that of Beerus.
He wasn’t comparable to me or anything, but he was strong.
Anime fans loved to overestimate the little God thing. He was multi-universal from what I’ve seen, maybe multiversal. Not even remotely in my ball park at the moment.
In all honesty I’m far more interested in the Super Dragon Balls. I would love to see what I could accomplish with that thing. As while I doubt it is stronger than me, I imagine it could grant some pretty neat pieces of knowledge that I can’t just normally stumble across.
At least without using my divinity, but that would make things boring. As if I did use my connection to the Akashic records than I could just learn everything and it would be boring.
I plan on only ever using it for books that are simply not possible to obtain anymore. Like lost knowledge and stuff like that.
Either way, it was fun watching the two saiyan’s look over the books, their eyes widening at some of the martial arts books I have obtained over the past months. None of them were really that impressive in comparison to what you could find in the Dragon Ball universe, but I imagine they can find some use for them.
“Whoa, some of these techniques are really cool aren’t they Vegeta?!” Goku exclaimed as he looked over one of the martial arts techniques from the Naruto universe that I had gathered.
I had techniques from all over the place, including even techniques from the Harry Potter universe. As it turns out that ancient wizards in Asian countries had learned to use magic spells combined with martial arts to strengthen themselves.
It was all quite interesting.
“…For once I agree. I’ve never seen techniques like these, Kakarot” Vegeta responded with a nod. The grumbly man seemed to actually be interested in something for once, and is he even impressed?
Surprising.
“I obtained them during my travels. Are you interested in purchasing them?” I asked, staring at the two saiyans who seemed intrigued by the techniques that they were looking over. They were unlike anything in their universe, so it wasn’t completely surprising.
“…Perhaps. Do they cost a lot?” Vegeta asked, causing me to chuckle.
“No, Vegeta, those are some of the cheapest martial arts techniques I have in the shop. The truly expensive stuff is farther to the right” I responded, as that was the truth. I had far better techniques for sale than the ones they were looking at.
“Wow really? Let’s keep looking then Vegeta!” Goku exclaimed in excitement as he moved to the more expensive section, full of techniques that might actually make a huge difference in their combat potential in the future.
DC had a lot of techniques that even I have to admit are truly impressive. Karate Kid was the best martial artist in comics for a reason.
I watched them look through the different techniques, noticing that Vegeta was already making a big stack of books. Looks like he understood just how incredible some of them were. And Goku…well Goku was just copying the same books that Vegeta was grabbing, as well as a few of the cheaper ones.
Can’t say I’m too surprised to be honest.
Goku was never the brightest. But thankfully it seemed that he wasn’t a complete moron like in the Dragon Ball Super anime. He was still an idiot, but not like…a literal child in terms of intelligence.
Or in his case I guess it’s more like he’s less intelligent than a child.
Thankfully he still had more than that. Not that that is saying very much.
“Do you two need any help with picking out any techniques?” I asked, noticing that they had been browsing for quite some time at this point. Not only that, but they both were looking over the same books over and over and over.
“Oh nope! We’re just looking over the ones we’ve already picked! But I think I’ve decided that these are the ones we’re gonna get, right Vegeta?” Goku asked, looking at Vegeta who finished looking over the technique in his hand before nodding.
“That’s right. These are the best choices…for now” Vegeta responded with a nod of agreement, as they moved to the counter with their selection of books. It was pretty obvious that Vegeta didn’t understand all the selections that Goku had made, but he wasn’t outwardly saying that.
I imagine he’ll be asking about it later on.
“Quite the selection you’ve got there. Are you planning on learning all those techniques?” I asked, the stack of books was quite large and a lot of the techniques that they had chosen were not exactly the easiest to learn.
“We are. I’m not going to buy books on techniques that I won’t learn. That is just foolish. And Kakarot learns every technique he reasonably can” Vegeta responded with a nod, as Goku seemed to agree with him.
“Alright then, let me add up the prices for you” I said, as I began to go through the books and check them out, at the same time I noticed Vegeta brought out a card, waving his hand seemingly telling Goku off.
Ah, yes. Goku isn’t the most wealthy person in the world. While Vegeta was filthy rich thanks to his wife Bulma, who was worth like…trillions in their world. She was also incredibly intelligent, and had a lot of technology that even I have to admit is impressive.
After using the card, the books were all paid for in the next few moments.
“Alright then, that’s that. Is there anything else you need? I also sell pastries and all sorts of bakery goods” I offered, knowing that saiyans absolutely loved food.
And as I had expected, they both had ordered…well, a lot of food. Like…the largest order of pastries I have ever gotten. Hundreds of muffins in 5 different flavors, and several other pastries in a similar order size as well. It was…a lot, but it would seem that one taste of my muffins made them want more from me.
I can’t say I mind though, as it was funny watching them absolutely devour the food I make like they do. It was like they were walking vacuum cleaners or something.
Watching them happily consume my food, I couldn’t help but chuckle “Well, I am glad you two like my food so much” I said, looking at the two who were happily munching on my blueberry muffins.
“It’s delicious!” Goku said with a muffled sound, struggling to properly chew his food because of how much of it was in his mouth. The guy really needed to learn how to properly eat his food.
“Why thank you, I’m glad you like my cooking” I responded with a pleased smile, as Vegeta just silently munched on his own muffin. Nobody had ever devoured them with such happiness, and nobody had ever eaten them so fast either.
It was nice to see someone buying a bulk amount of them and openly eating enough for that bulk order to make sense.
“It truly is delicious, Wanda, and I do not say such a thing lightly” Vegeta spoke, surprising me a bit. He didn’t seem like the type to give out compliments, and considering his wife was like a trillionaire who could buy the best foods on the planet without any problem, this was a genuine compliment.
They were really helping my ego.
“Well, besides my fantastic cooking that you are liking so much, is there anything else you need, or are you going to head back home?” I asked, as the two saiyans glanced at one another before shaking their heads.
“Nope, we’re all done here, thank you Wanda! Bye Bye!” Goku said rapidly before walking off, probably excited to eat the rest of the muffins and learn the new techniques or something.
“Thank you” Vegeta said simply before walking out of my store a moment later, leaving me alone once more.
And as they left, a chuckle escaped me alongside a few words.
“…Saiyans really are quite the interesting bunch”

That’s the end of the chapter!
Sorry about the late upload and not updating the vault chapter yet.
I have some family and personal shit going on that is taking up my time. So I was only now able to get this chapter out (at literally 2 in the morning). Said shit is incredibly annoying and is likely going to continue for a little while, so chapters might be late.
Daughter of God will be getting updated later today (Sunday) instead of the normal Saturday, as I am too tired to write right now, to be honest with you. The Modern Family vault chapter will be coming in the next day or two as well, alongside some other ones once I’ve got the time.
I have plans for reincarnation ones where the MC is actually reborn as Alex Dunphy in one of them.
Anyways, have a good day!

2025-11-02 16:38:06 +0000 UTCFor the sake of all things anime, I need to see a scene of Naruto, Goku, Luffy and possibly Toriko all meeting at her shop at once. Naruto is already there so, that's one guaranteed. Toriko would be a great add for more cooking recipes.

2025-11-02 11:36:41 +0000 UTCYippeee TFTC!!! When Goku was born and god was giving him his stats he must have put all extra stats into battle IQ and left IQ at under average, but with how much of a genius Goku is at martial arts he could have been hella smart if like 1/3 of the battle IQ stats went into IQ😂😂
