Chapter 2 [Vault]

TITLE - I am Hope Mikaelson

Death was something that I was extremely familiar with. Losing my entire family, all my friends, and all my loved ones, all through them dying. I had long since realized that I was cursed, or something of the sort, because no matter who I got close to, they always died.

Through this curse, as I call it, I grew cold to the outside world, I lost the will to go outside, thus locking myself in my home was the answer. My family was rich, having a lot of wealth through owning parts of large companies, allowing me to live peacefully without any sort of problem. All I had to do was buy groceries online and then have them picked up and brought home.

The only solace I had in life, was a small group of things that I came to enjoy. This being music, reading, and watching all sorts of fictional works. It was like an addiction to me, one that I couldn’t stop, as I simply enjoyed it too much.

My favorite types of characters, were those that I could relate to, the ones who also had a terrible life like me. Supreme among them, was Hope Mikaelson. I found her to resonate with me on a personal level, and while she didn’t lose as many people as I have, she certainly felt the pain I have.

I had continued my life like this, divulging in what is probably an unhealthy amount of fictional works, before eventually, I ended up in this place. What seemed to be an infinite darkness surrounded me, and no sounds or light in my surroundings.

I died. That is the only real explanation for this situation, and as bad as that is, I guess it could be worse. I had a lot longer to live, being only an 18-year-old girl. But at least I didn’t feel any sort of pain, and I don’t even remember the death in the first place.

Now that I am here, there is nothing to do but wait. Be it for some deity to come around, for me to eventually disappear from this place, or something else. I guess thinking as if I was in a fanfic situation would be for the best. If I was to be given a system, or wishes, or something else, then I hope it will at least get rid of this curse of mine.

Stopping, I turned as I noticed a light begin to enter the corner of my eye. Seeing the light get brighter, I turned fully as the glow stopped and what stood in front of me was a wheel.

On the wheel, it had the words “Spin for the world, wishes, and reincarnation”

Seeing this I just blinked, before walking forward. I saw absolutely no reason to hesitate, so why even wait? Grabbing the wheel, I swung and spun it. Watching as words flew by, I mentally noted some of the names that flew by. Eventually, the wheel stopped, and I couldn’t help but grin widely.

‘This….this is far better than I was hoping’ I thought with a wide smile, before stopping as a game-like screen appeared in my vision.

[Please designate your 5 wishes]

‘Hm, it doesn’t say if there is a limit to the power that the wish can have. But it would probably be best to assume there is. I don’t even know if that curse of mine is gone or not…I would assume so’ I thought. Selecting a group of 5 wishes was both easy and hard, easy because I already have an idea of what I wanted, but it's hard because I don’t know how limited they actually are.

After a while of compilation, I decided on my wishes. A floating keyboard appeared as I began to type out my wishes.

[Wish 1 - Infinite Potential]

[Wish 2 - The ability to get random powers, based on the random power button from the superpower wiki. Includes custom powers that I made when younger, found in my superpower doc. All of these powers will be permanent, does not include powers that would cause me harm just from obtaining them]

[Wish 3 - The ability to gain the age of those I kill]

[Wish 4 - Immunity to all forms of mind control, reading, scanning, etc]

[Wish 5 - Immunity to all forms of power copying, stealing, sealing, etc]

My wishes were basic enough, but they had the potential to grow incredibly monstrous in the future. I also knew that I probably wouldn’t be able to ask for anything too overboard, so this should be just weak enough to be granted. Soon, a new screen blinked into my vision.

[All wishes granted. Wish 2 shall be limited, not allowing the user to gain absolute, transcendent, omni, etc powers until the user reaches a certain level of power. The user can use this ability once every year, or by sacrificing 100 years from those the user has killed. This requirement will grow larger in the future. Does the user still want this wish?]

‘These limits…are not awful. It still allows me to gain a lot of power, and the first limit is about what I was expecting. The second one also isn’t bad, as I can just kill some vamps to get the required age’ I thought, before saying “Yes”

[Wish selection…completed. The user shall also receive a status, and the ability to travel the multiverse. The status only shows the user's age, name, species, etc. The multiverse travel may be used once per year]

[Would the user like to change their appearance at all before reincarnation?]

“Can-can I get a you-know-what?” I asked, the idea of being a futanari was incredibly appealing to me.

[Granted. When the user completes the reincarnation, their new body shall have the addition of a male penis and testicles, as well as the original forms vagina and female form. This shall change the user's gender into futanari]

[Would the user like to begin their reincarnation? The user shall appear during the start of winter break, 2 months before canon begins. The user will be granted all of the memories of Hope Mikaelson upon rebirth]

“Do it” I said, there was no reason to hesitate was there? I wanted to live my life to the fullest, and this was the best way to do that!

That’s the end of that chapter. Chapters for this one will be shorter, as I am just making it for fun.

Y’all like the idea for it? I think I might actually continue uploading this one to my vault, just cause I like the idea a lot. If I get enough people liking it, I might upload it on other sites, and turn it into a third story of sorts, but that’s for the future lol.
