Dying as a seventeen-year-old wasn’t on my to-do list, but I guess it could have been worse. I could have been put into an office job.

… Anyways, I died from what I can only assume are unknown causes, as I was definitely asleep when I died, meaning that whatever killed me was instantaneous, and not very painful, which is definitely a good thing, who likes pain?

My surroundings were composed of darkness, nothing, and…even more nothing. Seeing as there was absolutely nothing around, I could only think of a single thing this could be. And if it is what I am expecting, then I guess I can’t be too angry about dying.

My life wasn’t all that interesting. I had no real friends, had only had a single girlfriend who cheated on me, and had two incredibly religious parents who hated my guts due to me being a lesbian woman. I had a deep love for all things fiction, enjoying movies and shows more than real life. I used it as a way to escape my problems, and nothing could ever compare to it. I enjoyed MCU, TVD, and Harry Potter in particular. My knowledge of MCU and Harry Potter, being the most extensive by far. While I didn’t have nearly as much knowledge on TVD, I had a good amount, enough to know what was going on, even when watching Legacies before having watched the Originals.

Now that I was here, I can only guess that this was one of those fanfic situations, in which I am going to be reincarnated or something of the sort. I can only hope that is the case, otherwise, this is one shitty hell.

My thoughts of what this situation could be, was cut off when a screen appeared in front of me, confirming my suspicions.

‘Well looks like I was right. Seeing as it is only these three, then that means it is going off my favorite worlds. Really there is only one choice in this situation. My knowledge of MCU, while the greatest, the universe itself is far too dangerous. Harry Potter is the close second in terms of the knowledge I have in regards to it, but I don’t really want to be an 11-year-old again’

‘It all comes down to TVD, more specifically the Original timeline. It is probably not the safest of all of these choices but it is the one that I have a good bit of knowledge of, even more so than the beginning of Vampire Diaries. Not to mention that it is just the easiest to deal with, as well as the easiest to follow, I think at least’

Pressing on TVD (Originals Timeline) I watched as the screen blinked, changing its text into something new.

Well…there is no way I am not going to use this to the absolute maximum. Messing around with what sorta looked like a character creation screen from all those games I had played, I ended up sitting there for…who knows how long, creating my new appearance.

I had been born African-American and was proud of my skin color, so there was no way in hell I was changing that. I also made myself a bit taller, going from my already above-average 5’8 to an even taller 5’11. I had a feeling that would change to 6’0 sooner or later, but this was more than enough for now. I liked being tall, so I wasn’t going to change that either.

Finishing this appearance creation, or whatever the hell it was, I was now watching as the screen changed once more.

‘Ughh fuck’ I groaned out as I slowly began to open my eyes after that system or whatever it was, ripped me away from that void.

Slowly getting to my feet, the first thing I noticed was that I was seemingly in the middle of a forest, I also noticed that I had a full set of rather comfortable clothing on.

(My sense of fashion is awful)

Finishing my inspection of my body, I stopped as I noticed a screen, similar to that of the one that sent me here, appear in my vision.

[This is an automated message sent to properly explain the user's new set of powers and background]

{The Power of Three - By completing certain tasks (that are usually quite difficult) the user will gain a set of rewards, that comes in three. All three would be related to one another in some way, be it having the same species, to being similar in nature. These rewards can vary from items to powers, to even knowledge. These rewards are random in terms of the level of power and are entirely dependent on the luck of the user. There is a specific limit on the amount of power these can be, due to the user's starter universe not being strong enough to handle the truly powerful, godlike rewards. Species gained from these rewards may have certain limiters released, such as getting a TVD Original vampire, the limit on how strong you can get through age, would be eliminated. This is situational, and will not always be the case. In the case of getting TVD Vampires, the “age” of certain characters the user may receive knowledge of, may be applied to the species, this will always be specified within the reward itself.

These tasks are not forced upon the user, nor do they penalize the user for not completing them.

The user also has access to multiverse traveling, which can be used once the user completes 10 tasks in the current world. Once traveled to, the user can travel to and from new worlds freely,

The user also has a status, this simply displays the user's name, species, age, and some other basics.

The power of three is completely the users and is not any sort of system or anything of the sort. This is a one-time message and will not be repeated. The status will update every time the user receives a new task so that the user can properly track it.

The user will receive their first set after this message is over, as reading this message is considered the first task.

‘What the hell am I even supposed to say to that?’ I couldn’t help but think, as I read the entire message from the being that sent me here in the first place.

I couldn’t finish my thoughts before pain assaulted my being assaulted with the worst pain I have ever experienced in my entire life.

It wasn’t only physically painful, but also mentally. As my senses began to rapidly increase, I began to see so much more than before. The sounds of leaves rustling became louder and louder, as my senses continued to increase. My sight was even worse than my hearing, as I tried to shut my eyes to cut off the things I was seeing.

I could see…so so much. The simplest things, like people walking through a city, to the worst of it, like rape, murder….I saw, and could now see, it all. The physical pain had ceased after only a minute or so, but it was the mental one that was the problem now.

Trying to control my sight, I began to focus on limiting it and my other senses to just my current surroundings. Otherwise, I would see not only what was happening in this world, but what was happening all over the solar system, and beyond. I would be awed by it if it wasn’t so fucking overwhelming!

How the hell did Heimdall do this without going crazy? After what felt like forever, I had gotten my senses under control enough that I could properly think. They were still covering a large radius, but only in my close vicinity.

‘Holy shit that was not fun’

Getting up from my kneeling position, which I was all but forced to enter after my senses got to the point they were. Walking over to a small puddle nearby, I crouched down and looked at my reflection. Sure enough, my eyes were the same as Heimdalls.

‘Damn, my eyes are cool! Definitely going to stand out, but cool nonetheless’ They were going to draw attention, but they were way too cool to complain! Plus, while they hurt like a bitch when using the full extent of them, they are still overpowered as all hell. All I need to learn is how to focus on what I want to see, and then they’ll truly shine.

‘I’m assuming the “Champion of Khonshu” thing means I am technically Moon Knight. I wonder if I have to transform to use the physical side of being Moon Knight…well…I guess it wouldn’t hurt to test it out’ I thought, before slowly moving towards the nearby tree, drawing my fist back, and punching the tree with all my strength.

*CRack* *CrasH* *Boom* What previously was a standing tree, now was a toppled tree, with its middle area cracked “*Whistle* Damn, I guess that confirms that”

‘Now I just have to test if I can transform or not…I guess it’s an instinctual thing?’ I guessed, as I closed my eyes and began to focus.

Gasping I felt power flood through my body, as these white mummy-like wrappings began to form around me, before forming a suit around me.

‘Well….this is weird. I definitely feel stronger, but it isn’t by a ton. I still look pretty cool though. Plus, having these weapons, and the protection this suit provides, is pretty good. I doubt I will use this form all that often though. I probably go with the more inconspicuous suit, the Mr.Knight one or whatever the hell it was called’ I thought before the suit slowly came off my body.

‘Well, now that that is over with, I guess it is time to look at my status’

‘So a demigod….not bad at all. Seeing as I am literally the child of Hecate herself, I can only guess that learning magic from this world would be a good idea. With these eyes of mine, the superior magic, and the physical buffs I get from being a demigod and from being Khonshu’s champion, I should be more than strong enough to go to New Orleans and survive…hopefully’

‘I can still be killed by someone faster than me, so I have to be especially careful of the vamps. But besides them, the werewolves shouldn’t be too much of an issue besides when they are transitioned’

‘Hmm, I am assuming the first task is going to be easy, and then they will begin to get more difficult afterward. Hopefully, the power of three gives me something good, hopefully in line with TVD’

Deciding to begin, I began to walk through the forest, deciding to try and find a road of some sort. I didn’t activate my senses more in fear of them spiraling out of control. Once I have more training in them, and I can handle the full load of the senses, then I will begin to use them more, and potentially just have them active at all times. For now, though, I was using the currently limited senses to find a road.

It took me a few minutes of walking to find the road, walking alongst the road, I sighed ‘This is going to take a while’ I thought with an annoyed sigh, as I walked alongside the road, bored out of my mind.

‘Onwards to adventure, I guess’
