Chapter 24 [Vault]

Title - The travels of an overpowered scarlet witch

I died. That was the unmistakable truth, I don’t know why or how, but I did. One moment I was watching Motherland: Fort Salem, watching the oh-so-adorable Tally break down due to her frankly bitch teammate Abigail, and the next I was here, in a never-ending void of nothingness.

Being as big of a fiction nerd as I am, I have a feeling this is one of those reincarnation/transmigration situations.

Well…that explains that.

Making my appearance took…a lot longer than I was expecting, but I eventually got it.

Seeing that I was done, I moved to the glowing wheel and breathed in deeply, before spinning as hard as I could.

The wheel trickled by, as the wheel showed many many names, before glowing and stopping on three.

…holy fuck…what the hell is my luck?!

Wanda alone would have been more than enough, and the fact that my appearance was literally based around Elizabeth Olsen, made it even better. I had used her as a faceclaim in plenty of the fan fiction I had written in the past, so this is literally perfect.

The other two were just bonuses on top of that. Raven has a shit ton of potential, and at her absolute peak, she’s arguably stronger than Wanda, but at the least, is on par with them. The fact that these are the show/movie versions of them, is a little disappointing, but I’m certainly not complaining.

“Uh, will I be able to use the magic of Fort Salem? Like the works, aka magic?” I asked, knowing that this was sorta important for a world like that.

[Immunity - The user is immune to all forms of mind control, reading, scanning, etc (The Phoenix would have protected the user from this either way). The user is also immune to all power stealing, sealing, absorbing, etc. Finally, the user CANNOT be cloned, as the user's DNA simply disintegrates should it be tested on or scanned in even the slightest.

[Infinite Potential - The user has absolutely infinite potential for growth, and has no true ceiling for their growth and potential]

[Immense Comprehension and learning speeds - The user's comprehension and learning speeds are roughly 250x faster than before. Can grow further with new characters, allowing them to learn and comprehend things rapidly]

[Perfect Memory - The user's memory is perfect, allowing them to perfectly remember everything that has ever happened in their life, be it from their birth, or a moment ago]

[The user can also travel to new universes once per year, in which the user will be transported to this space to spin the wheel, before going to their next world. The user can bring others with them. Time in the previous world pauses while gone]

I couldn’t even continue my thought process as everything went black, and I felt a pulling sensation.

[3rd POV] [Location - ???????]

Within a small apartment room, a gorgeous woman lay asleep. She was roughly 5’8, had slightly toned abs and arms, a perfect figure with B-cup breasts, and a bubbly behind. This all converged to make Wanda, our Wanda at least.

A soft groan escaped her lips as she began to sit up, a slight accent in her tone, from quite literally being Wanda Maximoff or a version of her at least. Her eyes fluttered open, causing them to glow a powerful purple and crimson, before she blinked against them, allowing them to revert to their usual Green eyes, rather than the brown in the original MCU version.

Sitting up, Wanda softly rubbed her eyes in annoyance. “That was rude” She muttered with a sigh, as she noticed her new accent.

Truly opening her eyes, Wanda clenched her fist, as she felt the power running through her, it was…immense. Following her instinct and primal urge, she lifted her hand as a crimson glow emanated off of her hands.

“So this is my psionic energy in form? It’s…beautiful” Wanda softly said, as she brought her hand up, where her psionic energy glowed softly. Swishing it between her hands, she smiled as she began to rotate it around her hand, before directing it to a nearby chair, causing the chair to glow the same red color, and float softly.

Wanda had a happy smile on her face as she watched it levitate, before she cut off the psionic energy, causing the chair to fall back to the ground.

“Chaos Magic…I don’t think it’s a good idea to mess with that just yet” Wanda muttered, tempted to try it. But she knew it was very powerful and very dangerous. It was the same color as her psionic energy from MCU Wanda but had a darker red and black color to it.

“With my increased comprehension and learning speeds, mastering the usage of this should be easy enough” Wanda said with a smile, as she decided to test her next set of powers.

Closing her eyes, she breathed in deeply as she pulled on another part of herself, the Raven side. Her eyes opened slowly, revealing them glowing crimson red, as a dark black and purple glow emanated from her hands, which she slowly formed into a small ball of power.

She had all the power of Raven from Titans, without the whole sinister soul form self, thankfully. The black and purple power glowed as she played with it, rotating it just as she did with her psionics. Originally the magic from her Raven side would have been yellow, but due to the influence of her other power, it was the original bright purple, liquid-like energy, being shrouded in black smoke, with purple sparks emanating outwards.

As the energy ceased, Wanda smiled as her eyes stopped glowing. Flicking her wrist, the door of her bedroom flew open softly. ‘Looks like my telekinesis works just fine’ Wanda thought, before deciding to try her last power.

Breathing in deeply, she pulled on one of the deepest parts of herself, as she heard the soft cry of the phoenix…her phoenix. Her eyes began to glow a powerful orange glow, as a fiery energy poured from her very being. The energy slowly began to form behind her, into a glowing orange color a…phoenix.

Clenching her fist at the power, Wanda softly spoke “It’s nice to meet you, Phoenix”

“You as well, my new host. I can sense the fears within your heart, and you need not worry. The dark phoenix cannot manifest, the supreme one made sure of it. Just as they have ensured I am bonded to you, and only you. They’ve shown me what your potential is, and I know you to be the perfect host for me. My power works in all universes we shall travel to, and shall grow alongside you. The psionic energy of every new universe will strengthen us beyond measure. You, my host, shall always have access to my power, and should you-we, grow far enough, you will have full access to my power, and potentially beyond”

“Ah, and I don’t talk much, so you need not worry about me bugging you incessantly”

Chuckling softly, Wanda replied “Well, I will keep that in mind. And Phoenix…thank you for being so accepting of this”

“It is my pleasure, my host. I was originally the phoenix of a dying universe, doomed to die alongside it, but, I was saved and taken by the supreme creator, chosen to become your phoenix. Now, I’ll leave you to your devices” The phoenix finished, as the glow behind her ceased.

Wanda smiled at this, knowing that her new friend would forever be by her side, and will forever be bonded to her…that Phoenix at least. There were many phoenix forces out there, all being simple fragments of the multiversal phoenix force within the Marvel comics multiverse.

Walking out of her room, she hummed at the size of her apartment. It was small but cozy. She knew it wouldn’t last, as she was to go to the fort in a couple of days, but still.

Plopping onto the couch, she hummed. She began to think over the magic of this universe, it was…weak for the most part, but there was some magic that had use for the future.

‘Well, maybe I can get something out of this’ Wanda thought with a sigh, knowing that she was primarily just here to train her powers, and that was it. The world wasn’t all that dangerous for her.

Wanda stopped as what almost looked to be a medal appeared in the sky above her, sparkling softly like a firework. Looking at the medal, Wanda smiled before speaking “I, Wanda Maximoff, do solemnly pledge to protect and defend the United States of America against all enemies, foreign or domestic. I will faithfully serve and obey the rules and articles for the government of the Army of the United States, all secrets keep, all lawful commands willingly performed as dictated by the Salem Accord.”

After speaking those words, the medal stopped sparking, before dropping into her awaiting hands.

Before she flipped it onto its back, revealing the back which had her name encrusted onto it, and Pvt 1st class.

“Well…time to get to Fort Salem”
