Title - The Eternally Evolving Flame

I died. How? I have absolutely no idea, and quite frankly, I doubt I ever will.

One moment I was sipping on some coffee while watching Vampire Diaries, and the next I was here, in this neverending void of nothingness, well, besides me at least.

Is this hell? I mean, I was a lesbian teen in my past life, with rather…religious parents. As you’d assume, they weren’t exactly the most appreciative to find out their daughter likes pussy. Not that I really care what they think of me.

Fiction is my safe space from the bullshit family I was born into, and shows like Vampire Diaries, Winx Saga, and all the others like them, were my favorite. I was just a bit addicted to them…just a bit.

That also came with the attraction to fictional characters, not that I was a creep about it or anything. I just am a gentlewoman who can enjoy the fine intricacies of fictional women, like Rebekah Mikaelson, Katherine Pierce, Alice Cullen, Hermione Granger, and all the others.

The teen was cut off from her thoughts, as a pulling sensation began to encompass her being, as she began to get whisked away from the darkness that was surrounding her very soul.

As she was pulled away, the infinite void that was tainted with the tiniest bit of light, that was her soul, finally became dark once more.

Within a small, worn-down room with nothing but a bed, a couple of lights, and a cabinet with some books on it, like some sort of worn-down warehouse of some sort, a red-headed teen lay.

Her eyes slowly began to flutter in her sleep, as a soft groan escaped her lips. Slowly, she began to sit up, with her eyes opening at the same time. ‘That sucked’ The girl thought, annoyed.

Getting to her feet, the redhead sighed as she stretched her body. Slowly, she turned and noticed a mirror, which she walked in front of. Her eyes widened as she took in the sight of her new form.

‘Fuck…I’m Bloom Peters’ The girl, now known as Bloom, thought. The second she did, pain flooded her head, as memories began to assault her. Memories of this body, her body. The memories continued to flood, as she grunted in pain.

The pain continued for a while longer, before eventually it ended, thankfully. ‘Fuuuck that sucked’ Bloom groaned, as the memories settled.

‘Well…my life sucks’ Bloom thought with a sigh, as she sat back on her bed.

The memories were bad because of her “parents” which it would be an insult to even call them that. They were basically two neglectful and very emotionally abusive people. Why it was some sort of AU she doesn’t know, and honestly, she wasn’t sure she cared. Bloom ended up running away from the house after the two had gotten particularly emotionally abusive.

[The Eternally Evolving Flame]

A flame that has the ability to evolve in the future, eternally at that. This flame can evolve in various ways and can be used to create new powers and abilities. The Dragon Flame has fused with this flame, increasing the dragon flames capabilities and powers. The user can gain new evolutions by completing tasks, and can only pick from two different evolutions. All evolutions apply to all flame magic, as flame magic is casted using the eternally evolving dragon flame.

You gain a free evolution off the bat, select from one of the two.

Ever Burning Flames

An evolution that causes the flames to burn infinitely, unless the user wishes for them to cease burning, or if someone much stronger than the user quenches the flames. This applies to all flame magic.

Cold Flames

An evolution that causes the flames to gain the ability to become as cold as absolute zero, but in a sort of flame form. Freezing that which it touches.

‘Well…that’s pretty interesting. I’ll choose ever burning flames’ Bloom thought with a hum, as the words blinked. Soon, a deep red flame began to flicker in front of her, not completely summoned, but enough to be seen.

Grinning at the feeling of power, Bloom de-summoned the flame. ‘This is a lot better than I could have hoped for’ She thought, knowing that this was a big improvement to the flame.

Now that you have chosen the evolution, this will be the last notification you receive. Enjoy your new life, and make sure to try and complete the tasks in order to evolve your flames further!

‘Well that was interesting’ Bloom thought with a chuckle, reading through the notification.

‘Well that should be easy enough, probably at least…how the hell am I going to get into contact with any of them though? Maybe they’ll come and find me on their own?’ Bloom thought, trying to think about how she would go about doing this. As Alfea College was literally in an entirely different realm, finding or interacting with them wouldn’t be very easy.

‘I guess just messing around with some magic would be the easiest way to attract attention, as otherwise, I don’t really have a way of getting into contact with someone like Dowling, or any of the others. Chances are, they have some sort of way to track magic, so they should be able to find me easily enough’ Bloom thought with a hum, going through her mini fridge and grabbing a small thing of coffee.

‘For now though, the best idea would be to just…wait and see if they can come and find me…hopefully’
