Chapter 39 [Vault]

Title - The End, The Grace, and the Authority

I’m dead. One moment I was reading a fanfic on MHA, one of those cliche “Izuku Yagi” ones, and the next I was here, in a neverending void of nothing but me, myself, and I.

I don’t know how I died, I wasn’t unhealthy, I definitely didn’t choke on anything, and there wasn’t really much else that could have killed me in a single moment. But I died nonetheless.

Disappointing? Yep, but I guess this could have been a lot worse. I could have been shoved into hell. Unless this was one? I mean sure, I was a lesbian teen who loved fictional women, and morally I wasn’t really the best person, but hell? I guess my uncaring attitude for others could have caused that…

I was never in a relationship, and I didn’t really have any family or anything, so I guess this isn’t really the worst situation ever.

[3rd POV]

The woman let out a low sigh as she surveyed her surroundings, only to stop as she saw glowing words forming in the sky.

“You have died. Please select the following”

Starter World

3 Powers (Does not allow Nigh-omnipotent or omnipotent powers)

‘Well…normally this would take a bit, but it’s a good thing I’ve thought about this a lot in the past’ The woman thought with a small smirk forming on her face, before opening her mouth.

“World is My Hero Academia, gender is Futanari, appearance is Arlecchino” The woman said rapidly, before stopping in thought for a few moments, before continuing.

“For Powers, I want: The End from Medaka’s box, Sunshine from 7ds, and the Authority of Greed” The woman said with a wide smirk. This system, or whatever it was, didn’t give any sort of limit on the power, besides Night-Omnipotence and above.

The three powers were all…incredible. But The End was easily the strongest. Combine that with Sunshine, it’ll boost her overall power even more, including her abilities, although that wouldn’t affect The End…probably.

The Authority basically just made her nigh-invincible, as she could stop time on her own body. Not to mention her attacks would be far far stronger than normal thanks to this little fact.

With the End, she can copy the powers of others, Quirks especially, at 120% of what they normally would be. Thanks to the way the end worked, this worked by watching others, off of information, off of word of mouth, and stuff like that. Sadly it wouldn’t work on things like physical capabilities, but MHA would counter that little fact. As a lot of quirks would help her.

Said ability would also allow her to master said abilities at an immense rate, far faster than any normal person would, even the original user. Making it even stronger than they did on top of that. This also allows her to learn various skills rapidly as well, including things like baseball, piano, and all sorts of things.

A truly monstrous ability for a world like MHA, far stronger than anything in that world, besides perhaps “New Order” the most powerful quirk in all of MHA, by a drastic margin.

“...Selections finished. The Authority of Greed (Lions Heart) will not require Little King to work, as a gift to the user. However, the ability will put strain on the user, should it be constantly active. This can be overcome over time, as long as the user obtains the proper quirks, abilities, or training”

“Now that you have selected your power, appearance, starting universe, and gender. It is time to begin your reincarnation. One last piece of information: You have been given the ability to travel to other universes, you may use your first travel after the first “season/movie” of each universe has ended. You may go to and from past universes freely, and time stops in previous universes when gone. Others can come with you, as many as you wish”

“Beginning reincarnation, enjoy your new life…Arlecchino Shirakawa”

‘Hmm, not a bad na-’

The woman now known as Arlecchino couldn’t continue her thought process as everything went dark, and she was promptly whisked away from the neverending void of nothingness.

Within a large, extravagant room, a woman lay.

She was tall, roughly 6’0 tall, had rather short, white hair with several black streaks, a toned, six-pack, a bubbly behind, and rather average breasts.

Slowly her eyes began to creep open, revealing her uniquely colored eyes, with a sort of red X within them, glowing softly.

Sitting up, Arlecchino let out a sigh as she sat up. Looking around, she hummed ‘Interesting. A bit different than I was expecting, but not bad’ Arlecchino thought, gazing at her new home.

She blinked as she looked at her fist. She could feel the power within her slowly rising ‘So this must be sunshine…it’s…amazing’ Arlecchino thought with a smile.

Walking down from her bed, she turned on her TV and raised an eyebrow at the show that turned on. It was…underwhelming, to say the least. A poorly made romance show that was like Bachelors, but with heroes.

Ignoring the show, she instead noticed a note on her kitchen counter. Grabbing it, she began to read.

“Now that you have successfully reincarnated, here is some additional information about the world you inhabit.

It is currently 1 week before the U.A entrance exam. You have a ticket to enter the exam, so use that time well.

Your powers, due to their existence, cannot be blocked, stolen, sealed, copied, absorbed, or anything of the like”

‘Hmm, alright then. That’s more than enough time to get a few quirks for myself. Just watching a few clips of All Might, Endeavor, Mirko, and O’clock, aka Knuckleduster back when he was a hero. Each of them has a quirk useful to me, especially All Might and Knuckleduster. Endeavor is more so to test his power combined with Sunshine, while Mirko’s quirk would just be a good way of strengthening my legs even more’ Arlecchino thought with a hum.

That’s the end of the chapter!

It was short, but I thought it was a good prologue for this vault fic.

I sorta had the urge to write something involving MHA, so I decided to make a vault fic for it. I might make a couple more in the future, one involving a certain Star, and another involving a blood-loving fiend.

Unique Gamer chapter will be coming in a couple of hours or so, sorry for the late update, but I had some stuff to do.
