Chapter 44 [Vault]

Title - The 100: The Hidden King | Chapter 2

___________________________________________

[3rd POV] [Location: ???????????]

‘I’ll go with House Stark’s personal army’ Eivor thought, as she lifted her finger and pressed on House Stark.

Almost immediately after she did so, the paper glowed brilliantly, with her surroundings soon glowing just as brightly. Soon figures glowed into being, all of which had some sort of armor that was the usual for the North.

In front of her, figures began to glow into the space. First was Eddard Stark (aka Ned), Robb Stark, Jon Snow, and soon more figures appeared. Arya, Catelyn, Sansa, and all the other members of House Stark, even including their Direwolves.

“Your grace” Ned said, dropping to a knee as the rest of the people soon joined him.

“You don’t need to kneel” Eivor said, motioning for them to stand.

“It’s improper not to, My King” Catelyn replied, a small smile forming on her face, at the small sigh that escaped Eivor.

“Do all of you understand the situation we are in?” Eivor asked, deciding to move on from…that.

“We do. It would be best to start gathering supplies and building shelter, as soon as possible. This world is…unfamiliar, and dangerous, so we must express caution” Ned replied, causing Eivor to nod with a smile.

“Good, I want you to gather some of your men and have them begin chopping wood, finding food that looks edible, and hunting if possible. Do not allow any of them to eat any of the local plants, as they may be poisonous. Our food supplies will last two weeks, so we have until then to gather our own food and test which ones are edible” Eivor replied, before continuing.

“Also, find as many of them that know how to build shelter, and have them begin as soon as possible. We do not want to be out in the open and in the cold, not for much longer” Eivor continued, causing Ned to nod.

“I shall get to it, my king”

“Good. I have some other plans on how to improve the soldiers, but until then, let us stick with this” Eivor replied with a smile, having plenty of ideas on how to make her army even more skilled and dangerous.

She was rather certain that the average Northern soldier was better than the average Grounder, except in terms of knowledge about the land and plants.

“My king, if it is alright, I’d like to scout the surrounding areas, if you permit it” Jon walked forward and asked, causing Eivor to blink, before nodding.

“Yes, that would be a good idea. Hmm, take Arya with you. And you’re welcome to bring Ghost and Nymeria” Eivor replied, causing Jon to smile and walk off to get his youngest sister.

‘Getting shelter built is the first thing we need to do. After that, we need to find a clean source of water, and food. Then we can worry about things like where we are and our potential neighbors. But I have a feeling that we aren’t super close to Polis or any of them. More than likely a state or two away’ Eivor thought with a sigh, before looking around, at the large amount of soldiers in the area, now moving around and beginning their tasks.

‘For now…let’s focus on the small stuff’

[2…months…later]

Within a large, bustling village.

‘This has gone far better than I could have hoped’ Eivor thought with a happy sigh, as she leaned back in her chair.

After the initial order she had given to her people, her people quickly began to gather supplies and build up shelter. It took them half a month to get up a small village. By that time they had also had found a clean source of water nearby in the form of a waterfall and even had some livestock. Having found some pigs nearby that were taken in, alongside some chickens they managed to find.

During this time, they had also mapped their surroundings for a few miles wide. This led to a realization for Eivor, and that was that…they were not in the same area as where the 100 would land. Instead, they were in what used to be Kentucky. While the show mainly took place in Virginia, Maryland, and partially in what used to be New York.

A lot of it was…close together, very close. The only clan that wasn’t entirely based out of those areas, was the Ice Kingdom, which was primarily based out of Michigan, and their territory was roughly 1,000 miles long. Way bigger than any of the other clans.

The fact that her nation was roughly 500 miles away from D.C which is where the 100 were pretty much located (give or take a little) was…annoying. That meant it would take her roughly a week or two just to travel down there…which was a problem. With her horse, it would be a little shorter, but still a problem.

It made her really appreciate when she had cars and planes. But now? Now traveling was going to be a chore, until she got something that could travel quicker. The entire show takes place over the course of not even a year. With season 1 being roughly an entire month, season 2 being roughly a month as well, while season 3 had the time skip of around 3 months.

Meaning, she could miss a LOT of important events should she have to travel during the middle of the events.

Kentucky itself has already been scouted in it’s entirety. The land was basically all hers, with a couple of villages being found, but they joined her rather quickly after seeing the size of her army, and the protection it would net them.

With this, she was able to properly learn Trig, and what can and cannot be eaten. She made it a requirement amongst soldiers to learn the language so that they can safely speak with grounders in the future.

Besides requiring her people to learn Trig, she had increased their training, through her own knowledge from her past life, from Eivor, and through Ned’s aid. The overall quality of her soldiers had drastically improved, thanks to this, and their literal impossible-to-break loyalty.

At the moment she didn’t really require any sort of soldiers or an army, so they were instead given other important tasks, while still being trained as soldiers. Tasks like hunting, chopping wood, skinning animals, helping make clothing, building new homes, etc.

This was made easier with the aid of the local villages that had joined her, with the largest of the villages being known as “Liville” which she was pretty sure was based out of what used to be Louisville.

With their aid, she managed to get some genuinely decent buildings built, and her soldiers now knew what they could and could not eat.

Besides basically conquering Kentucky for herself, Eivor had also been spreading her influence into the neighboring land of Ohio and Indiana, having sent several expeditions out to the states. They hadn’t found much, but Eivor wanted to make sure the lands were empty, for when she summoned her next army. Because once she did, she’d make a village in each of them as well.

In total, with her own army, and the villages that had joined her, she had just over 6,000 people in her slowly growing Kingdom.

She just hoped that the next summon would be larger, over 10,000 if possible. Because her army was skilled, but it wouldn’t do much against the Mountain Men, or someone with guns.

She had another couple of months to develop her army, spread her influence, and take over more states. All before she gets noticed by Lexa and her little coalition. Dealing with them would be…annoying, especially the Ice clan.

She wished her ability would be activated every month or two or something, but she supposed she’d just have to work with what she had.

Currently, Eivor was sitting within her home they had managed to build up for her. The village itself bustling around outside as she sat in her small living room.

(This but slightly bigger)

Getting to her feet, she walked out of her home. She was greeted with small smiles and words of greeting from her people.

“Ah, your grace. Here’s the report from the recent expedition” A voice sounded out, causing her to turn to find Sansa standing there with a smile, before handing her a small slip of paper.

Reading it over, Eivor hummed. “So they found a couple of villages in both States? And one of them is… cannibalistic, said village has over 50 cannibals…”

‘Hmm, they could prove to be a problem if left alone…’ Eivor thought, before looking to Sansa.

“Send word. I want that cannibal village taken care of, cleanly” Eivor said to Sansa, who nodded.

“In their sleep?”

“In their sleep” Eivor nodded.

Leaving a cannibalistic village around would just be a bad idea, and killing them would be for the best. She was certain her men could do it, as they had the numbers, the expedition itself being just over 75 people, lead by Jon and his direwolf.

“It will be done. Anything else?” Sansa asked. She had been made Eivor’s…helper of sorts, aiding in various tasks.

“Hmm, after they get rid of the cannibals, have them begin contact with the other villages in the area. And have them give the villages the same deal we gave the Liville people” Eivor said, causing Sansa to nod, before walking off.

‘Leading a village is…surprisingly not that hard’ Eivor thought with a small smile, as she walked through the village, greeting her people as they walked by.

Walking to a certain area, she turned and smiled at the sight of Rodrick Cassel training a group of 10 grounders who wished to protect their villages and become a part of the grounder branch of her army.

She planned to keep her armies rather separate from one another, in different “branches” of sorts. The grounder part was the one she had to keep a close eye on, not just yet, but in the future.

She had a total of 50 male grounders who wished to join this little army. All of which were going to primarily be focused on helping protect their villages, and training the next generation.

She planned on allowing women into the army but hadn’t had enough of them to have any women to allow. Once she did get some recruits on that side, she planned on getting Arya and Rodrick to train them together. That way they can still take advantage of the feminine side of them, and the natural agility and flexibility that they have.

She of course, had never stopped training and keeping up with her physical side. But, thanks to her knowledge, she was FAR above any of her soldiers, in terms of skill. It would require someone like Arthur Dayne, Jaime Lannister, or Barristan Selmy for her to get much out of it.

She had still used it to learn some of the Northern ways, laws, rules, and the swordsmanship they naturally trained. But that was about all she got out of them, sadly.

Looking around with a small smile, Eivor only had one thought at that moment.

‘Two months…two months until canon begins, and two months until everything changes’

That’s the end of the chapter!

Next chapter will have another time skip, and a bit more going on.

I decided on Stark’s as the additions of Robb, Jon, and Eddard were good strong additions. Not to mention they were the second best trained of the bunch, while still having the skills to survive in the wild.

I didn’t cover the assimilations of the other villages as they were…inconsequential, and are mostly filler people that’ll be used in the future…potentially.

I might get this fic to 5 chapters, and then move to another one. Probably one of the following ones: The Power of Three, The Mighty, The MHA fic, I am Serafall Leviathan or the Doctor Who fic. Not sure which one I’ll do first.

I’m kind of in my “The 100” phase right now, so you might seen an increase in “The 100” vault fics lol. I’ve already got plans for two other ones, one involving True Alpha’s and Lexa as the Mc with Clarke as the love interest, while the other would be an OC skaikru, with Octavia and potentially Raven as the love interests for that one.

Unique Gamers will be updated in a bit, so be ready for that.

Anyways, have a good day, see you later!

Probably won’t happen in this fic, with her being a summon. But I plan on making some GOT/HOTD fics soon. One of those might involve Sansa as a love interest.
